  1. Eng 124-3published at 30 overs

A good over for England, with six runs from it. Tammy Beaumont and Sophia Dunkley are hustling between the stumps.

Ash Gardner also bowled the first wide of the day.

Other than bat, I'm not sure what is saving Tammy Beaumont. Australia were adamant about not reviewing however.

  3. Eng 118-3published at 29 overs

Better running from England, running two off a Tammy Beaumont paddle. Somewhat predictably, it's the only scoring shot of Alana King's seventh over.

The spinner finishes the over with a huge lbw appeal against Beaumont, down on one knee with both hands in the air. Wicketkeeper Beth Mooney talks her team-mates out of a review.

To really go to the next level, I feel England need to improve their strike rotation. Too many dot balls in this innings - in part due to excellent bowling!

  5. Eng 116-3published at 28 overs

Sophia Dunkley finds a gap in the field through mid-wicket but can't come back for a second run as a fielder cleans up in the deep.

This is getting a little frustrating for England. Two singles only.

  6. Eng 114-3published at 27 overs

Alana King concedes two singles to move her figures to 1-9 from six overs. The good news for England is she can only bowl four of the remaining 23 overs.

England have scored one boundary since the 20th over.

  7. Eng 112-3published at 26 overs

Well, that over has got the scoreboard moving a little. Tammy Beaumont and Sophia Dunkley exchange four singles off Ash Gardner's second over.

England had a positive powerplay but this feels like a passage where Australia are being ruthless and they are looking to turn the screw.

    Thanks Mike.

This feels like a crucial period for England. They've only scored 10 runs in the past five overs.

  10. Eng 108-3published at 25 overs

One single off this Alana King over too - she's gone for just seven runs in five overs, taking the wicket of Nat Sciver-Brunt.

Having reached 55-0 after 7.3 overs, England have stalled dramatically, not yet doubling that total by the half-way mark of the innings.

Here's Elizabeth Botcherby to take you through the next 25 overs.

England’s 5-7 in this tournament has been comfortably the worst of any side in this World Cup. They have averaged just 9.66 and scored at just 3.46 runs per over - the lowest figures for any side.

  12. Eng 107-3published at 24 overs

    Ash Gardner into the attack.

She keeps up the pressure with five dot balls, before Sophia Dunkley denies her a maiden with a single to long-off.

    Tammy Beaumont has a 50. I don't care if we lose, that's a result.

Great to see Tammy finding form and taking it to the Aussies. I wonder what conversations have taken place with her to help her find her form again? Whatever has been said or done, it's worked a treat!

It looked like Nat Sciver-Brunt had hold of that!

There has been so much talk around England's middle order and this is the time they need to step up.

Beaten in the flight! The ball hung in the air but it was an easy catch in the field.

    A huge wicket.

    There goes the captain.

Nat Sciver-Brunt advances down the pitch to Alana King and skews an edge to Annabel Sutherland at mid-off.

Australia are into England's shaky middle order.

  18. Eng 104-2published at 22 overs

Nat Sciver-Brunt brings up England hundred, working Kim Garth's first delivery backward of square for two.

She faces four dots then dispatches the last ball of the over through a similar area for four.

Nat Sciver-Brunt is the perfect batter to combat the spin threat of Alana King. She has faced 185 balls from King in ODIs and scored 175 runs (1 dismissal).

Alana King's third over is a maiden, the fourth in the innings.

Her first ball turns dramatically past a stretching Tammy Beaumont's bat - an absolute ripper of a delivery.
