Amy Jones is up to 47 (51).

  2. Eng 115-5published at 33 overs

    Target 457

Amy Jones runs two to move into the 40s and follows it up with a four through long-on. Kranti Gaud gives a half-hearted chase.

It's two, four, two to finish the over. Jones is eyeing a second half-century. She's up to 46 (49).

  3. Eng 107-5published at 32 overs

    Target 457

    Maiden for Sneh Rana.

  4. dropped catch

Dropped catch - Villiers on 22published at 31.4 overs

England haven't reached India's first innings score over their two innings so far. I wouldn't be surprised if Sciver-Brunt retires or resigns as captain. The women are so far off it at this level. Huge shake up and development program required.

The two Indian off-spinners, Sneh Rana and Deepti Sharma, operated very similarly in terms of release speed, release height, and average length bowled in this match.

However, Sneh Rana found more turn on average (2.5°) than Deepti Sharma (1.8°). To compensate for the lack of turn, Deepti attacked the stumps far more often, with 60% of her deliveries projected to hit the stumps compared to 34% for Rana.

  7. Eng 107-5published at 31 overs

    Target 457

Poor Richa Ghosh. She takes another bruising at short leg, sticking out a left hand and deflecting the ball into her own knee.

Amy Jones finishes Sree Charani's over with a boundary into the off-side and strolls for a fist bump with Mady Villiers.

  8. Eng 102-5published at 30 overs

    Target 457

Amy Jones does indeed avoid mirroring her captain.

Dot ball to finish the over, although it's not without drama as Richa Ghosh attempts to run Jones out. Umpire Sue Redfern, at square leg, walks away.

  9. Not out - Jones on 34published at 29.5 overs

    Eng 102-5

A carbon copy of the Nat Sciver-Brunt lbw from earlier in the match. Going high over leg stump. Sneh Rana is getting some turn and lift out of this surface.

Sciver-Brunt was out next ball. Let's hope Amy Jones avoids that fate.

  10. England reviewpublished at 29.5 overs

Has Sneh Rana got Amy Jones lbw? India think so, the umpire thinks so.

Height maybe? Jones sends it upstairs.

  11. 100 runs

100 up for Englandpublished at 29 overs

    Eng 100-5

I'm not sure how Amy Jones has survived that! She's playing on the back foot to one which keeps low from Deepti Sharma and the ball whistles past her off stump.

Three balls later, Jones takes a single to bring up England's 100.

  12. Eng 99-5published at 28 overs

    Target 457

This time it's Amy Jones who plants one into Jemimah Rodrigues' foot. Again, no reaction.

The following ball, Rodrigues leaps into the air in anticipation but it stays low. Head in her hands - if only she'd stayed down. It carried.

Three runs take England to 99.

  13. Eng 96-5published at 27 overs

    Target 457

Deepti Sharma bowls the first over after drinks. India are still crowding the bat - wicketkeeper, slip, silly point, short leg.

It looks like Mady Villiers banged the penultimate ball into Jemimah Rodrigues' toe at silly point but the fielder didn't move.

    Two singles.

Retiring former captain Heather Knight is one of five England players to fall so far in this evening session.

Here's how her international career came to an end.

  15. drinks break

    Eng 94-5published at 26 overs

    Target 457

Full toss, smacked to the mid-wicket boundary for four. Ta very much, says Amy Jones.

Kranti Gaud replies with a pinpoint yorker.

Jones finishes the over with a boundary, gobbling up a short delivery and pulling square for four. 10 from the over.

  16. Eng 84-5published at 25 overs

    Target 457

Another boundary for Mady Villiers, this one over the top of Richa Ghosh at short leg and away for four. Prior to that, Deepti Sharma bowled five dots.

On the England balcony, Lauren Filer is playing with a Rubik's Cube, with the team's resident Rubik's Cube master Issy Wong sat beside her.

We're into the final hour of day three at Lord's (unless India are close to a result when we might get an extra 30 minutes).

  17. Eng 80-5published at 24 overs

    Target 457

Kranti Gaud bowls one into Amy Jones' body and the wicketkeeper does well to turn the ball behind square for two.

Mady Villiers picks a gap and creams the penultimate delivery into the off-side for four before using the slope of the ground to pick up three.

  18. Eng 70-5published at 23 overs

    Target 457

    Deepti Sharma enters the attack.

Amy Jones pulls hard at her second delivery and it pings off Richa Ghosh's hip at short leg. She jumps up and down on the spot a few times - that one will hurt.

England add three runs to their tally. A single for Jones and an edged two for Mady Villiers.

  19. Eng 67-5published at 22 overs

    Target 457

England have another hour and 15 minutes to survive to take the match into the fourth and final day.

Amy Jones is not out on 15 (15), Mady Villiers has 5 (14).

  20. Eng 64-5published at 21 overs

    Target 457

Ooooh Sneh Rana gets one to turn back in and it bounces just over Mady Villiers' middle stump.

After four dots and bit of unconvincing defence, Villiers picks up four through the covers. Dot to finish.
