  1. Ind 321-7published at 83 overs

Richa Ghosh takes a single off Sophie Ecclestone's over before Sayali Satghare faces the rest of the over without scoring.

Harmanpreet Kaur is having a chat on the India balcony - still no movement.

    Ghosh has a run-a-ball 42, so maybe we're waiting for the half-century.

  2. Ind 320-7published at 82 overs

    Lead by 435

Lauren Filer comes into the attack for the first time in the session, replacing Issy Wong who has toiled without much reward.

She's still bowling with the old ball, and Sayali Satghare picks up her first four through backward point.

  3. Ind 315-7published at 81 overs

No new ball for England - perhaps not a surprise with Lauren Bell sitting up on the balcony in training gear, having suffered issues with her abdominal muscles.

Sophie Ecclestone sends down a maiden to Sayali Satghare.

There aren't many players on the India boundary now.

There is a lot going on here. I cannot tell what Issy Wong is trying to do. I can't understand the plan, as a bowler we shouldn't just run in relentlessly just because - there should be a plan.

  5. drinks break

    Ind 315-7published at 80 overs

    Lead by 430

Richa Ghosh thwacks Issy Wong through the covers for four, past a diving fielder who probably should do better.

The next ball is wide and full and Ghosh sends that for four through point too.

That's the end of the over and the new ball is due... will we see a declaration?

No, India are staying out and the players will take drinks.

Really nice of India not to declare before Ecclestone's five. Hats off to decency.

  7. Ind 305-7published at 79 overs

    Lead by 420

Sayali Satghare faces her first ball, and she turns Sophie Ecclestone fine for a single.

Richa Ghosh turns down a second to retain the strike, but can only add one more single herself.

Sophie Ecclestone has registered her fourth five-wicket haul in Test cricket. She is only the second England bowler to take four or more five-wicket hauls in women's Test cricket and the only bowler to achieve this feat in the 21st century.

Most five wicket-hauls in women's Test cricket:

    • 5 - Mary Duggan (England, 1949-1963)
    • 5 - Shubhangi Kulkarni (India, 1976-1991)
    • 4 - Betty Wilson (Australia, 1948-1958)
    • 4 - Jackie Lord (New Zealand, 1966-1979)
    • 4 - Sophie Ecclestone (England, 2017-2026*)
  9. Ind 303-7published at 78 overs

    Lead by 418

India's 300 comes up as Richa Ghosh denies Issy Wong a maiden, hitting the final ball of the seamer's over for four through the covers.

Meanwhile Harmanpreet Kaur is now in her whites and Smriti Mandhana and Jemimah Rodrigues left the balcony to head into the dressing room at the end of the over.

    Declaration imminent?

If that is a sign of things to come, England might have cringed a little at that. That wasn't exactly the best technique from Ecclestone but Rana comes to an end and England will be happy to see the back of her.

Why on earth don’t India declare; 245 in the fourth innings is the biggest score to just draw. Bhatia has her 100. They could make a real statement here. Just as well it’s a dry spell with no rain forecast!

  13. Ind 298-6published at 76 overs

No signs of an India declaration as they take a couple of singles off Issy Wong's over - no-one on the changing room balcony is in whites, everyone's looking pretty relaxed.

Meanwhile we've heard that Lauren Bell has some abdominal muscle soreness and is being assessed by England medics.

  14. Ind 296-6published at 75 overs

    Lead by 411

A couple of fours for Richa Ghosh.

She fires Sophie Ecclestone's second delivery past Lauren Filer at mid-off, with the England seamer slapping the turf in frustration.

Two balls later and a shot if fired to the cover ropes.

  15. Ind 288-6published at 74 overs

I couldn't have wished for that hundred to have gone to a nicer person. I am made up for Yastika Bhatia. She has had a horrid time of it the last two years and she's getting back to the things that she adores.

  19. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 72.2 overs

    Bhatia c Villiers b Ecclestone 113 (Ind 287-6)

Hit high in the air... and taken.

Yastika Bhatia's fine innings comes to an end.

The India number three flails Sophie Ecclestone's delivery into the London sky and Mady Villiers takes the catch at extra cover.

A fourth wicket for Sophie Ecclestone and her seventh in the match.

We are seeing a different side where India are satisfied and they can declare when ever they want.
