    Another strong pull shot from Toby Albert, punishing a drag down delivery from Jafer Chohan.

    The next delivery is another drag down but goes straight to the fielder at deep square leg and Albert can amble through for a single to move on to 33 not out.

    Glos 179 v Worcs - lead by 62

    A neat back-foot punch from Miles Hammond gets him two runs off Fateh Singh and allows him to reach 50.

    It has taken him 102 balls and he has struck six fours but more importantly, he is really dragging Gloucestershire back into things.

    And then Ollie Price pushes a Matthew Waite ball for three through the covers and that ticks the partnership to 102.

    It's the highest of the match and the Pears have been nullified this afternoon.

    Glamorgan 82-3 v Leicestershire (Target: 257)

    Glamorgan captain Kiran Carlson raises his bat after 71 deliveries. He cuts coolly square for four - the ninth boundary of his innings - and continues to slowly haul his side back into the equation.

    Carlson and Colin Ingram (7*) have put 45 on for the fourth wicket.

    That's the fourth and third for Matthew Potts.

    Matt Montgomery is caught on the drive and can only feather an outside edge behind the stumps to Ollie Robinson.

    It's all going Durham's way. They will hope to wrap this one up with a day to spare now!

    It's all been downhill for Warwickshire since Dan Mousley's downfall and it may be Sussex who are slight favourites now.

    Vansh Jani drives hard at an angled ball from Sean Hunt and Tom Clark takes a sharp catch at second slip.

    From 149-3, Warwickshire have lost three wickets for seven runs - and Alex Davies and Chris Woakes are both new to the crease.

    Hunt has eight wickets in the game. This could go either way now.

    Kiran Carlson has just taken Tom Scriven for four fours in a single over - including three successive boundaries. He has raced to 44 all of a sudden.

    That was an untidy over from Scriven, who has earlier today done the business with the bat for the home side.

    Meanwhile, his teammate Ian Holland's figures at the time of writing read: 9-6-3-2. Remarkable effort.

    A swing and a miss from Nathan McSweeney.

    The Australia batter tries to tee off in the search for more runs before a declaration but sees his off-pole flattened.

    A first wicket of the innings and fourth on debut for Ben Walkden.

    A welcome boundary for Warwickshire as Vansh Jani runs Henry Crocombe down to third man. He is 61 not out and the Bears need another 48.

    Surrey 96-5 v Notts (Target 329)

    The one batter who has stood up to the might of the Notts bowling attack in this chase, Ollie Pope, brings up his half-century in 74 balls.

    Pope has just aggressively pulled Brett Hutton away for four and then nudges Liam Patterson-White into the legside for his 50th run.

    This knock accounts for more than half of Surrey's runs this innings.

    "Game on" says former Warwickshire captain Dermot Reeve as current skipper Ed Barnard departs for a single.

    A tickle down the legside off Sean Hunt brings Barnard's brief innings to an end and suddenly Sussex have a chance of winning this game, having seemed bound for defeat just a short time ago when Vansh Jani and Dan Mousley were still together.

    The lights are now on at Edgbaston. Let's hope we can still get this one finished this evening.

    The part time off-spinner gets Jake Lehmann, whose eyes must have been lighting up, to go on the attack straight from the off.

    Lehmann can only edge to Dom Bess who parries the ball up one-handed before catching at the second attempt.

    Golden arm! Lyth races away in celebration. A big Yorkie bonus.

    A bit of a settler for Kent, this one.

    Ekansh Singh with the breakthrough and he gets his reward for really bending his back to extract a bit of extra bounce.

    Sam Robson is surprised by it and the ball brushes the gloves on the way to being caught behind.

    Now, can the visiting side pick up a couple more before the close?

    Charlie Allison pushes a ball from Archie Vaughan for a single to point as Essex's total reaches 300. They have almost cleared the deficit as well, having been asked to follow on during the second day's play.

    Potts then thinks he's got Wayne Madsen first ball leg before but the umpire is unmoved this time.

    Glamorgan have hit the early trouble Welsh supporters feared, losing cheap wickets in pursuit of an improbable target of 257 on a pitch that’s been favouring the bowlers throughout.

    The nagging accuracy of Foxes captain Ian Holland accounted for Glamorgan openers Zain Ul-Hassan and Asa Tribe, and as Ben Kellaway tried to dig in, he was undone by a shooter from Tom Scriven.

    Glamorgan will just hope to be still in the fight overnight with play likely to run past seven if the light holds.
