    The umpires have just been speaking to TV while England's players kick a football around behind them.

    They aren't ruling out a game but are concerned about some white patches in the outfield. Any further rain could be an issue.

    The groundstaff have been doing what they can. Trying to dry an entire cricket outfield with a leaf blower seems futile, however.

    I'll be honest with you. The situation is not the best.

    There has been a lot of rain around in the past 36 hours and the outfield is soggy. They have already delayed the toss and the next inspection will be at 13:30 BST.

    The forecast is not great either.
