Really looking forward to this fight. You can scrub Dubois losses against a generational great. Look at his recent wins. Everyone I knew thought he'd get his head boxed off by a resurgent Joshua, but calm as you like he flattened him - Fabio has his work cut out here.

Great sportsmanship from Bradley Rea. He was celebrating on his trainer's shoulders and soaking in the cheers from his home crowd but insisted to get down straight away so he could go console Liam Cameron.

He just said he feels "terrible" for hurting his opponent.

In other news, an early stoppage is great news for those of us who were worrying the main event could take us into Sunday!

  4. How Wardley became world championpublished at 21:44 BST 9 May

    Wardley v Dubois

Fabio Wardley has said a few times this week that a win tonight would be his crowning moment.

After beating Joseph Parker in October, he became the WBO interim title holder but when Oleksandr Usyk vacated the belt at the end of November, Wardley was upgraded to full champion status. He is the 11th heavyweight world champion from the UK.

  5. Great win for Manchester's Reapublished at 21:41 BST 9 May

    Rea beats Cameron by stoppage

A tremendous display by Bradley Rea ends in a stoppage win over Liam Cameron in their light-heavyweight contest.

It was a stunner of a left-overhand that nailed Cameron. He managed to beat the count but was sent face-first to the canvas seconds later.

    Frampton Q&A

Retired world champion and DAZN analyst

How quickly could we see Moses Itauma become world champion?

"Very quickly. I think as soon as he gets the chance, he's going to be a world champion. He's probably the only man who has a chance of beating Oleksandr Usyk at the moment. I say have a chance because at the moment, I still don't think quite yet that he would. But, as soon as he gets the chance to fight for a world title, he will become a world champion."

    Frampton Q&A

    Carl Frampton
Retired world champion and DAZN analyst

If you could go back and redo one fight all over again which one would it be and why?

"It would be the Josh Warrington fight. I think I went in with the wrong attitude. Knowing that it was going to be a difficult fight and just how physically fit and strong he is, I just didn't think he could punch and I got that wrong. I've never been hit so hard in my life. I think if my attitude was different and I was a little bit more aware of his power, the result may have been different."

    Wardley v Dubois

    Kal Sajad
BBC Sport at The Co-op Live Arena, Manchester

Timekeeping has never been Daniel Dubois' specialty and once again he has arrived late to a world-title fight. He did the same before his fight with Oleksandr Usyk, with reports later emerging that a pre-fight gathering was held at his house in the hours before.

This time, the Manchester traffic has held up the challenger. But he's here now, albeit an hour later than Fabio Wardley.

You'll be hard-stretched to find a better tagline for a fight than 'don’t blink'.

They are rarely in a dull fight. This has every ingredient for a domestic classic. Get the snacks sorted and your backside in the chair now - because if you nip to the kitchen once that first bell rings, you may well miss the finish.

  20. Career changing for Chellipublished at 21:13 BST 9 May

That is a huge, huge victory for Zak Chelli.

David Morrell was set to face Callum Smith in Liverpool a few weeks ago for the WBO interim light-heavyweight title but Smith had to pull out with an injury.

This fight was supposed to be routine for the Cuban but Chelli has just changed his career. His dad is in the ring with him, they're hugging.

Chelli was given his first set of boxing gloves when he was eight weeks old. His father is a boxing mad and just called out Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez.

    Could it happen?
