Benn v Prograis
Off we go.
Benn v Prograis

Benn v Prograis
Conor Benn made huge strides to win over the British public during his two fights with Chris Eubank Jr and he's getting massive cheers as Michael Buffer reads out his credentials.
Benn v Prograis
Matchroom chief Eddie Hearn is ringside by the way.
I've not seen Chris Eubank Jr yet.
Wonder how Hearn wants this to play out.

Former world heavyweight champion on Netflix
You'd think Benn was a champion already with the hype and excitement in the stadium, and his fanbase.
He just needs to perform like a $15m fighter tonight, and he's got the perfect opponent. He needs to let his hands go and be able to counteract the classy southpaw stance of Prograis.
Benn v Prograis
Final chance for you to get your predictions in.
Thumbs up for Conor Benn or thumbs down if Regis Prograis wins.
Benn v Prograis

Benn v Prograis
Conor Benn came out with a marching band for his last fight at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium when he beat Chris Eubank Jr in November.
No band this time but it is the same song - 'Ready Or Not' by the Fugees and he does have his father, Nigel, by his side once again.
Ah.
As Benn makes he way down the walkway he reaches a stage and there waiting for him is a string orchestra. Benn marches from side-to-side and grimaces. He's in the zone.

Just before we see Conor Benn make his ringwalk, let's get you fully up to speed on what Turki Alalshikh said earlier.
"Today, we have a big surprise. I hope we announce the biggest fight in the history of England," he said.
"The most important thing, we need someone to kidnap Eddie Hearn to finish and announce the big fight today."
Benn v Prograis
It's co-main event time.
Regis Prograis is first to make the walk and it's pretty dramatic.
The famous 'are you not entertained' line from the film Gladiator announces his entrance before he makes the long winding walk to the ring with Ben E King's 'Stand By Me' ringing out.
Prograis has gone to town on his outfit for this grand stage too.

There was plenty of speculation about how many fans would bother turning up early for Conor Benn v Regis Prograis, but the stadium is looking remarkably healthy.
It was added to the card to boost those ticket sales, and it may have done the trick. There are still the inevitable pockets of empty seats but the vast majority of the stands are now occupied.

Benn, 29, though believes he can make weight at 10st 7lbs in the future.
Speaking to the 5 Live Boxing with Steve Bunce podcast, Benn said: "If a world title opportunity was offered to me tomorrow, I would take it at 147 to fight this weekend."
When Benn takes on American Prograis, it will be his first fight since November when the Brit faced a different opponent Chris Eubank Jr.
"I chose to be active, and I want to get straight back out. This opportunity was presented, so I took it," added Benn.
Prograis won his last bout in August 2025 against Joseph Diaz, but lost to British boxer, Jack Catterall in October 2024.
Benn said he always looks "for an impressive win" and that he aims to "close the show early" in order to go home to have a celebratory "burger and chips".
Fury v Makhmudov
Image source, Getty ImagesEarlier this week, Croke Park stadium chief executive Peter McKenna told BBC Sport that Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua could meet at the Dublin venue in September.
If a deal is struck for the pair to square off at the 80,000-seater stadium, then it could also pave the way for Katie Taylor to finally realise her dream of fighting in the stadium.
"The real hope is that we will get Tyson Fury here later on in the year. That would be such a world-billing event that we would be able to facilitate a Katie Taylor fight here," Croke Park stadium chief executive Peter McKenna told BBC Sport.
"A lot of stars need to align. Katie's manager needs to agree, Katie's promoter needs to agree, Tyson Fury's promoter needs to agree.
"I am very confident that all three are coming to the sense that this is one of Ireland's greatest sporting athletes and it would be such a 'wow' to have her here and for her to finish her career here."

Jake Paul is not proper preparation for a fight of that magnitude.
Turki Alalshikh has just been on the Netflix broadcast bigging up a potential "surprise" tonight.
"Today we have a big surprise. I hope we announce the biggest fight in the history of England," he said.
The chairman of the Saudi Arabia General Entertainment Authority is presumably talking about Tyson Fury v Anthony Joshua, but then hints someone needs to "kidnap" Eddie Hearn tonight - perhaps suggesting the fight is not yet signed from Joshua's side.

Brilliant atmosphere here at the Tottenham stadium. Prograis will be a good test for Benn and a win should see him get a shot at a world title.

Image source, Getty ImagesRegis Prograis has campaigned at light-welterweight for the majority of his career and has reigned as the WBA and WBC champion.
The American makes his welterweight debut tonight but has previously had one fight at light-middleweight in 2013.
Prograis is looking for a fresh start in a new division after losing two of his last three bouts at light-welterweight against Devin Haney and Jack Catterall.
There has been talk this week about the 37-year-old possibly carrying an injury, although he has been quick to rubbish those rumours.
Riakporhe beats Tshikeva by stoppage
Richard Riakporhe spoke after his victory about the transition from cruiserweight to heavyweight: "I was arguably the hardest puncher in the cruiserweight division, so if I'm moving up and packing on more muscle mass, you know what happens next; more power and more knockouts. More is coming, I'm telling you.
"The plan now is to carry on knocking these guys out; I want to challenge for the heavyweight world title. I'm going to keep an eye on Fabio Wardley v Daniel Dubois, I would love to fight the winner.
"If I don't get that, I want Johnny Fisher. We both had the same trainer once upon a time. I love what him and his dad are doing they are killing the social media game. They always wanted to become British champions, so I want to give them an opportunity to fight for this belt. It's here for you."

Love him or hate him, Conor Benn knows how to get people talking. It’s not always for the reasons a fighter would want, mind you.
He’s been fired up and full of chat all week, though he’s been very carefully handled whenever the awkward questions pop up.
Benn is easily one of the most divisive names in the sport right now. One thing is for sure, though, he’s never boring.
