Prograis right leg is as stiff as steel for some reason??? He needs right foot outside of Benn's left foot as the southpaw boxer. Benn throwing a lot of leather, some not landing and that’s tiring.

  2. Round sevenpublished at 21:30 BST 11 April

    Benn v Prograis

Benn seems to have an endless energy tank. He comes out all guns blazing, attacking head and body.

His timing is perfect as he steps into range and stabs at Prograis' body.

But Benn gets a little too confident and Prograis counters beutifully to wobble the Briton momentarily.

Benn is responding the way a fighter should to a cut; he is unbothered. He is staying focussed on his opponent and the game plan at hand.

    Benn v Prograis

The cut on Benn's left eye looks a little worse than the one on his right.

Both came from accidental head clashes.

That looks like a cut on the opposite eye now for Benn.

Prograis needs to take advantage of the blood going in Benn's eye, try and land a shot when the blood is in the eye.

  6. Round sixpublished at 21:26 BST 11 April

    Benn v Prograis

Into the second half of the fight - this is scheduled for 10 rounds - and Benn appears to be in control. I'm giving Prograis one round at best so far.

Another clash of heads and Benn is given a warning by the referee.

A couple of uppercuts from Benn land on the chest of Prograis.

Benn now has a cut on his left eye too. He starts talking to Prograis and the American gives a bit back.

This is where we're going to see what Benn is about.

He has got a world class fighter in front of him with a game plan, who is really trying to ask him questions but so far he is answering them - he really needs to start digging in now.

  8. Round fivepublished at 21:21 BST 11 April

    Benn v Prograis

Benn works a neat combination, attacking the body and then coming up with a straight and hook to the head.

But his defence is low as he tries to exit and Prograis finds his chin with a straight left.

Prograis turns up the heat with several stinging shots to the body but Benn fights fire with fire and goes after the head.

It's being fought at an extremely high tempo.

The blood came from an accidental head clash, not a punch.

    Benn v Prograis

I didn't spot that cut but replays between rounds show it came from a clash of heads.

Prograis had dipped low and caught Benn on his right eyebrow as he came back up.

There is a cut on Benn's right eye now. That is exactly what he wanted to do - get a foothold, get something that will give himself confidence as the fight goes further.

He seems to have risen energy-wise.

  12. Round fourpublished at 21:18 BST 11 April

    Benn v Prograis

Prograis dives forward and sinks a left hand into Benn's torso but it lacks power.

Benn continues circle to his left - he's clearly been working on a gameplan for a southpaw - and keeps punishing Prograis with a left hook.

They both dip down and Benn sneaks through an uppercut.

I've got Benn up by four rounds here.

All of the welterweight division is watching tonight. All of the big names are looking at the good and the bad of Conor Benn.

There is not a lot of bad at the moment other than Benn not making adjustements to get his right hand through.

    Benn v Prograis

Prograis takes the centre of the ring but doesn't open up his hands and Benn is first to the punch still.

There might actually be an issue with Prograis' back leg. The American doesn't seem to be moving it naturally and is struggling to circle away.

Benn starts to circle to his left, getting out the way of Prograis' power backhand, and landing hooks.

    Andre Ward
Retired two-weight world champion on Netflix

Prograis is digging in to his IQ and experience bag, trying to find a way to sneak a punch to hurt Benn, but he hasn't been able to. There is too much youth, explosiveness and power from Benn.

I'm impressed with how Prograis is trying to keep Benn at bay, not allowing himself to be pressed on the ropes like a lot of Benn's opponents.

He is looking to steal big punches, and waiting for Benn to throw something and nail a counter.

    Benn v Prograis

There was talk of Prograis possibly carrying a leg injury into this fight but he seems to be moving OK.

Benn gets behind the jab and then times an overhand right perfectly to catch Prograis on the way in.

Prograis touches the canvas with his glove but it's ruled a slip. Prograis is playing a patient game and looking to counter but is yet to have great success.

Prograis buckled his knee, that was a perfectly timed shot from Benn.

He didn't go down, but it rocked him to his boots. Any progress he made in the first round, he lost a bit there.

Benn is sending a messge to Prograis that he is the bigger fighter and he is going to try and get a big shot early on the chin of Prograis.

  20. Round onepublished at 21:06 BST 11 April

    Benn v Prograis

How does Benn manage against a tricky southpaw?

They come together in the middle and Benn puts Prograis in a headlock. This is not MMA!

Benn gets through with an overhand right and Prograis steps back. The American did not like that.

Benn ends up on his knee but it's just a loss of footing rather than a knockdown.

Oh! Right on the bell Benn catches Prograis clean with a short right and it looks like his legs buckle slightly.
