A superb first few rounds. Both women are really going for it. Surely they can't keep this up? The crowd appreciated those counter-left hooks from Scotney.

There is a real buzz in the venue. As you'd imagine, it's a completely different kind of audience than the one at the O2 arena for Derek Chisora v Deontay Wilder last night.

  4. Round fourpublished at 21:10 BST 5 April

    Scotney v Flores

The referee has a word with Scotney about using her arms to keep Flores at distance, which is a testament to the Mexican's relentless agression.

That aggression has it's draw backs, in what was the quietest round of the contest so far.

What a round. Flores is really happy going back to her corner.

This is a hard fight to score. Are you scoring for the quality, or the quantity?

  6. Round threepublished at 21:08 BST 5 April

    Scotney v Flores

Scotney has done a decent job of adjsuting to Flores' aggressive style, with plenty of body shots and insisting on keeping the distance.

Flores' high tempo style means her energy withers by the end, and Scotney comes out of round three stronger than her rival.

  7. Round twopublished at 21:04 BST 5 April

    Scotney v Flores

Flores throws her arms up in the middle of the round, taunting Scotney to come at her.

Scotney obeys and ups the tempo with some nice combinations, but the Mexican is still winning in the volume department.

Not much is separating the two fighters in tonight's penultimate clash.

  8. Round onepublished at 21:01 BST 5 April

    Scotney v Flores

Quick start! That is certainly the highest energy we've seen from any first round so far.

Scotney hasn't been afraid to throw punches, but the movement from Flores is phonomenal - lightning quick.

There was no feeling each other out in round one.

And up next of course is Ellie Scotney, who walks to the instrumental 'Pound Cake' by Drake.

The 27-year-old looks cool as a cucumber - but Mayelli Flores was having none of it in the opposite corner.

  13. McGuigan’s busy nightpublished at 20:56 BST 5 April

    Kal Sajad
BBC Sport at the Olympia, London

Shane McGuigan has a busy evening. By the end of the night he could be celebrating an undisputed super-bantamweight champion in Ellie Scotney and a unified lightweight champion in Caroline Dubois.

McGuigan will finish in Scotney’s corner and then race back to be with Dubois.

Thankfully for him they’re both fighting in the same venue tonight. When Scotney beat Cherneka Johnson in June 2023, McGuigan was in her corner at Wembley Arena before darting across London to be with Dubois for her fight against Yanina del Carmen at York Hall. A proper boxing taxi job.

  14. Scotney seeking British historypublished at 20:56 BST 5 April

    Scotney v Flores

Ellie Scotney will join an elite club of British boxers tonight if she beats Mayelli Flores Rosquero to become the undisputed super-bantamweight champion.

Only three Britons have previously achieved that status in the four-belt era - Josh Taylor, Chantelle Cameron and Savannah Marshall.

Londoner Scotney has a further record in her sights, though, and will become the youngest British fighter to achieve the feat - aged just 28 - if she gets job done in her home city.

  16. 'We should bring Mayer fight to Britain'published at 20:52 BST 5 April

    Cameron confirms fight with Mayer

Chantelle Cameron to Sky Sports: "It feels amazing. It was about navigating the rounds. I have to get used to it. It's my first time [fighting three-minute rounds] and I have to get used to pacing it.

"She [Kotaskova fought well] but I was thinking, please give it up. She was tough, all credit to her."

On her next fight: "First of all so much respect for Mikeala Mayer. I've wanted this fight for ages. I think we should give the fans a great fight. We'll put our styles together and give the fans an amazing fight. I think we should bring it to Britain. But no dodgy decisions don't worry Mayer. The British love Mayer.

"But listen, if you want to go to the USA we'll go there too."

  17. What next for Cameron?published at 20:50 BST 5 April

    Cameron beats Kotaskova on points

What a night for Chantelle Cameron! World champion again and now at a second weight.

The celebrations will go on for a while but already we're thinking about what next for the Northampton woman.

Mikaela Mayer, who holds the WBC and WBA titles in the division, seems to be the answer to that question.

The American is a three-weight world champion and one of biggest names in women's boxing.

    It's a tasty match-up.

Mayer has just two losses in 24 fights while the only defeat on Cameron's record is to Katie Taylor.

  18. Scotney’s boxing IQpublished at 20:50 BST 5 April

    Scotney v Flores

    Kal Sajad
BBC Sport at the Olympia, London

Ellie Scotney is a brilliant fighter to watch.

You probably won't see a knockout - all 11 of Scotney’s professional fights have gone the distance. But technically, Scotney is fantastic.

She is a real boxing scholar and counts Roberto Duran and Julio Cesar Chavez among her heroes. That influence shows in the ring with her ring IQ, the patience and the way she reads opponents.

  19. Scotney bringing the church to Olympiapublished at 20:47 BST 5 April

    Scotney v Flores

    Kal Sajad
BBC Sport at the Olympia, London

Ellie Scotney often speaks about her Christian faith and the role it plays in keeping her grounded.

Scotney says her church community has been a huge support throughout her career, and quite a few of them will be in the crowd tonight.

That includes her pastor and several fellow churchgoers, all cheering Scotney on at the Olympia on Easter Sunday.
