    Scotney beats Flores on points

Here's what the new undisputed champion had to say, she also thought the scorecards were a bit wide.

Ellie Scotney to Sky Sports: "I can't tell you how much of a hard fight that was. I think the scorecards didn't give her justice. She was non-stop from the first bell. When I tell you I had to go through so many tests to get here today. Only God brought me through.

"She was a real champion. That was my hardest test and I knew it was going to be."

Pointing to her Mum: "I'm still not the Queen of Catford, she's still got that crown."

On Jake Paul promising her a new car if she won: "Hey Jake where's the G-wagon at?

"Right now I'm going to enjoy this moment because I've waited a long time for it.

"This has been the best night of my life."

100-90????? Awful scoring. 96-94 for me! Great fight.

Ellie Scotney was in tears as she was confirmed the winner. Can you blame her?

It was a battle from start to finish against one of the most aggressive fighters in the sport. And her reward is joining an elite club of undisputed Brits in the four belt era.

The 28-year-old struggled to hold all four belts at once as she conducted her post-fight interview. She is the youngest undisputed champion from the UK in the four-belt era.

    That is some flex.

How on earth did two judges give Scontey all 10 rounds. Flores won a couple rounds for sure.

    Ellie Scotney, take a bow!

Two scorecards were 100-90 and a third had it 96-94. A dominant win on paper but a tough, tough fight.

A touch of class from Scotney, who approaches Flores and embraces her and her team. She has been pushed to the limit by her 4 feet 11 inch opponent, and she knows it.

    What a battle.

Twenty seconds and never a lull in the fighting. Not one second where they took a breather.,

It was one of those fights where every round was brutal. But I thought Scotney pulled away in the second half.

They kept going until the final bell. Incredible stuff. The crowd are on their feet. Scotney will have gained a whole new fanbase tonight.

Who needs knockouts when you can entertain like that?

As we wait for the scorecards, I can't see anything but a unanimous decision and a new undisputed world champion from Catford.

  11. Round tenpublished at 21:28 BST 5 April

    Scotney v Flores

The crowd continue their support of Scotney by chanting her name at the beginning of the round.

You can tell she is tired though - she has barely hugged her opponent throughout this fight, but she had to in that round thanks to the pressure of Flores.

At the bell, Scotney is lifted by her team and is brought to tears. She reckons she has won this one.

Again a really good round. For all of Flores' relentlessness I think she's starting to feel it.

    I'm feeling it watching on!

  13. Round ninepublished at 21:25 BST 5 April

    Scotney v Flores

Scotney is once again pulled by the referee for her pushing, which is met with boos from the Brit-heavy crowd.

I don't think she needs to use this push tactic - because she is dealing with Flores' aggression far better than she did earlier in the contest.

"Just drop off," coach Shane McGuigan tells her in the corner when she returns to her stool.

    Will she listen?

Ellie Scotney's having to do it short, long, left, right, front foot, back foot, the variety is sensational.

I'm scoring it the sensible way, for quality of punches, not just windmilling it. Ellie's won three of the past four rounds, I think so.

Flores has definitely been hit in this contest, but her face tells another story - the Mexican barely has a mark left on her face.

Scotney gets her rival onto the ropes with a barrage of punches, but the referee intervenes before she can do any real damage.

Flores holds her hands up - she isn't happy about something in that exchange, but I'm not quite sure what.

Ah, looks like she's complaining that Scotney hit her when her back was turned.

Flores is enjoying this fight. She might have lost a few rounds but she's enjoying it. She's relentless.

I think Ellie's having to hold back from going toe-to-toe, she wants to go toe-to-toe, but you've got to use your brain.

It must be tough when you catch someone flush with the right hand and she just smiles back at you. These two are possessed.

  17. Round sevenpublished at 21:19 BST 5 April

    Scotney v Flores

The volume of Flores' punches is still remarkable, but you can tell it has dropped compared to just a few rounds earlier.

Scotney is doing everything she can to keep the Mexican at a distance. "Give me three more rounds like that", her corner tell her before round eight.

That was some round. Scotney is being dragged into Flores' type of fight, and she's holding her own. We've never really seen the Catford fighter box like this but - as fan favourite as this is - she needs to be careful.

  19. Round sixpublished at 21:17 BST 5 April

    Scotney v Flores

    That was an epic round.

After Flores had arugably her strongest period of the fight, Scotney put her foot on the gas and landed some clean combinations - three hard hooks landed on Flores but she kept coming forward!

Then the last 20 second or so turned into a straight shootout.

Scotney - who now has some slight grazing on her eye, appeared to wobble Flores slightly, but the 33-year-old responded with a barrage of punches before the bell.

Superb counters once again from Ellie. I've got Ellie 3-2 up, but it could be 3-2 the other way, it could be 4-1 either way!
