Now then, what can Jayden Daniels do in reply?

Three and out for the Commanders, who line up to go for it on fourth and three only for a false start to cost them five yards.

    They'll have to punt away.

  2. touchdown

    Touchdown - Giantspublished at 21:35 BST 19 October 2025

New York Giants 7–0 Denver Broncos

Expert composure from Jaxon Dart who bides his time in the pocket while tight end Daniel Bellinger wriggles himself free downfield.

Dart spots him, his pass is on the money and the tight end has himself a 44-yard touchdown.

    First strike to the Broncos.

A fortunate series of plays there for the Colts.

First Daniel Jones fumbles the snap, recovers it and runs on third down but comes up a yard short of a first down.

Jonathan Taylor is handed the ball on fourth and one - it looks short but officials give the Colts the first down.

    The drive continues.

Terrific work from Giants quarterback Jaxon Dart to dodge these bruising Denver defence and pick out Wan'Dale Robinson.

It's just as good from the receiver too, propelling into the air for a 23-yard grab.

  5. touchdown

That looked a touchdown all day for George Pickens but it's knocked out of his hands by Marshon Lattimore.

A pass interference penalty draws an automatic first down two yards from the end zone.

    Can Dallas take advantage?

    Washington Commanders 0–0 Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys have had a NFL-leading offence without CeeDee Lamb.

Well Dak Prescott has his favourite target back now and the big receiver has claimed his first catch, for 13 yards.

  8. field goal

    Points, points, points.

That's what we're hoping for as arguably the NFL's most exciting team Dallas Cowboys host a divisional rival in Texas.

The Cowboys boast the highest-scoring offence and the leakiest defence so expect Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels to cash in.

In saying that, shorn of his two best receivers Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel, maybe even this Cowboys team can offer some resistance.

Tough to call - but do not miss it.

  10. Jets left winless after home defeatpublished at 21:24 BST 19 October 2025

FT: Carolina Panthers 13-6 New York Jets

The Panthers moved 4-3 for the season with victory over New York Jets who remain winless at 0-7.

Jets quarterback Justin Fields again struggled to lead the offence and, after briefly checking out following a hit in the second quarter, was benched in the second half for Tyrod Taylor.

The change was somewhat effective with Taylor passing for 139 yards compared with Fields' 46 yards.

However, only the Panthers were able to find the endzone, Xavier Legette's solitary touchdown enough along with two field goals to seal the victory.

Kimani Vidal had 124 yards on his first Chargers start of the season last week and the running back has been involved again already today with two rushes and two catches on this opening LA drive.

NFC North juggernaut Green Bay Packers roll into the desert looking to keep the wheels turning on a promising season (3-1-1)

They are favourites against hosts Arizona Cardinals, who have lost four in a row after starting the season with two wins. They will once again be without quarterback Kyler Murray.

The Packers boast the league's best rush defence and with Arizona also down their two best running backs it could be tough going on the ground.

Jordan Love isn't scared to lfing it around, but Josh Jacobs has been the star man, topping 150 total yards and scoring two touchdowns in both is past two games.

Miserly. That's how I'd describe the opening to this game.

Twenty four yards for the Giants then a punt. Zero yards for the Broncos before a punt.

  15. touchdown

    Touchdown - Coltspublished at 21:14 BST 19 October 2025

Indianapolis Colts 6-0 Los Angeles Chargers

Some way to start the game! The Colts march down the field and their two star performers this season were at the heart of it.

Daniel Jones was perfect - three completions from three attempts for 48 yards.

And then the NFL's leading rusher Jonathan Taylor finished it off with a 21-yard touchdown run.

    Extra point missed though.

The Broncos are looking make it three wins in a row and move to 5-2 for the season in tonight's matchup against the Giants.

However, Jaxon Dart and company arrive in Denver with some energy of their own, having won two of their past three games, including taking down the Super Bowl champions Philadelphia Eagles last week.

The hosts were in London this time last week and have unusually chosen not to have their bye week.

Bo Nix already has 16 touchdowns passes for the Broncos this season - Dexter Lawrence may be the answer to slowing him down.

Plenty of one-sided games in the early window.

Mike Vrabel and the Patriots put on a big performance against the Titans in their 31-13 victory.

Despite the hosts' success early on, the Patriots dominated the game thanks to a Drake Maye passing masterclass. He set a franchise record for the highest completion percentage in a single game at 91.3%, breaking Tom Brady's record of 88.5%.

Titans interim head coach Mike McCoy couldn't find success following Brian Callahan's exit.

The fourth consecutive win - and three straight on the road - ensures the Patriots remain top of the AFC East (5-2).

    The Titans slip to 1-5.

  20. Eagles hold off Vikings in Minnesotapublished at 21:08 BST 19 October 2025

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts answered his critics with an excellent passing display, supplying touchdowns for receivers AJ Brown (two) and DeVonta Smith.

A statement win at another NFC contender snaps a two-game losing streak for last season’s Super Bowl winners.

Vikings quarterback Carson Wentz threw a pick-six in the first quarter and could not quite engineer a comeback.

Minnesota slip back to 3-3 for the season.
