  1. touchdown

    Touchdown - Eaglespublished at 18:42 BST 19 October 2025

    Philadelphia Eagles 13–3 Minnesota Vikings

That'll sting for Vikings quarterback Carson Wentz.

Against his former team, he's just slung his pass straight into the grasp of Jalyx Hunt, who has the freedom of Minnesota to run into the end zone for the Eagles.

Out of nowhere, Philadelphia stretch their lead.

  2. Postpublished at 18:39 BST 19 October 2025

Las Vegas Raiders 0–7 Kansas City Chiefs

Downfield shot from Patrick Mahomes is so close to connecting with receiver Tyquan Thornton.

Brilliant stop from Darnay Holmes denies him a free run at the end zone.

  3. field goal

Field goal - Dolphinspublished at 18:39 BST 19 October 2025

    Miami Dolphins 3-3 Cleveland Browns

The Dolphins level the scores thanks to Riley Patterson's 33-yard field goal, on a drive built on De'Von Achane breaking off for a speedy 46-yard run.

Las Vegas Raiders 0–7 Kansas City Chiefs

Two more catches for Rashee Rice on this second Chiefs drive.

    He's definitely back in business.

Kansas City threatening another score here as the first quarter nears an end.

  7. field goal

Field goal - Brownspublished at 18:30 BST 19 October 2025

    Miami Dolphins 0-3 Cleveland Browns

The Browns generate just enough offence, albeit with a big penalty in there, to get close enough for Andre Szmyt to drill a 30-yard field goal to go ahead.

It's tough going in this one though.

  8. touchdown

    Touchdown - Titanspublished at 18:28 BST 19 October 2025

New England Patriots 3-10 Tennessee Titans

Cam Ward sends a 38-yard pass to a running Chimere Dike at deep left, who gets his first NFL touchdown.

Joey Slye converts the extra point.

Will the Pats answer back again?

  9. field goal

Field goal - Pantherspublished at 18:28 BST 19 October 2025

Carolina Panthers 3-0 New York Jets

Nearly at the end of the first quarter and barely 60 yards of passing combined between these two quarterbacks.

Ryan Fitzgerald's 30-yard field goal puts Carolina on the board first.

  10. Postpublished at 18:26 BST 19 October 2025

    Miami Dolphins 0-0 Cleveland Browns

Almost a quarter gone and the two QBs in this game, Dillon Gabriel and Tua Tagovailoa have combined for four completed and 30 yards.

Sums the game up so far...

  11. field goal

Field goal - Vikingspublished at 18:25 BST 19 October 2025

    Philadelphia Eagles 7–3 Minnesota Vikings

Shocker for Minnesota Vikings as they lose 32 yards from a busted snap on third down.

Quarterback Carson Wentz manages to scramble back and retrieve it but they'll have to settle for a field goal.

Duly buried from 59 yards by Will Reichard.

  12. field goal

Field goal - Patriotspublished at 18:24 BST 19 October 2025

New England Patriots @ Tennessee Titans

The Patriots look to answer back. Drake Maye is sacked twice but they are able to set up Andy Borregales who converts his 36-yard kick.

  13. touchdown

    Touchdown - Chiefspublished at 18:19 BST 19 October 2025

Las Vegas Raiders 0–7 Kansas City Chiefs

Welcome back to the NFL, Rashee Rice.

An ACL injury at the start of last season wrecked 2024 for the Chiefs receiver and then he faced a six-game suspension to begin this year.

Like he's never been away as Patrick Mahomes shovels it off to him and in he runs.

  14. field goal

Field goal - Bearspublished at 18:16 BST 19 October 2025

New Orleans Saints 0-3 Chicago Bears

The Bears get on the board first with a Jake Moody field goal from 27 yards out.

Moody is a great story, cut by the 49ers after missing field goals at the start of the year, then only elevated to the Bears squad days before their win against Washington last week.

Which Moody claimed with a field goal as time expired!

Fun Fact: The Bears have won both of their last two games 25-24.

  15. Great play!published at 18:16 BST 19 October 2025

Las Vegas Raiders 0–0 Kansas City Chiefs

Who else for Kansas City Chiefs but Travis Kelce.

The giant tight end has open field in front of him as Patrick Mahomes picks him out for a 44-yard run.

    Home team on the move.

  16. field goal

Field goal - Titanspublished at 18:14 BST 19 October 2025

New England Patriots 0-3 Tennessee Titans

The Titans get their first points on the board with interim head coach Mike McCoy.

The Patriots didn't make it easy for them on the opening play of the game, two tackles by Marcus Jones slows their attack but Joey Slye is able to convert the 49-yard kick in the end.

  17. touchdown

    Touchdown - Eaglespublished at 18:12 BST 19 October 2025

    Philadelphia Eagles 7–0 Minnesota Vikings

It's not Saquon Barkley that sees it in for the Eagles but rather AJ Brown who is on the end of Jalen Hurts' 37-yard touchdown pass.

Ideal start for a team that was heavily criticised after last week's beating by the New York Giants.

  18. Postpublished at 18:11 BST 19 October 2025

    Philadelphia Eagles 0–0 Minnesota Vikings

Ten plays in this opening drive for Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles but they've only gone 30 yards.

This offence is yet to ignite this season but they've started with a reasonable ploy.

    Give it to Saquon Barkley.

  19. Could the NFL's number one draft pick be cursed?published at 18:10 BST 19 October 2025

Los Angeles Rams @ Jacksonville Jaguars (14:30 BST)

    Media caption,

Could the NFL draft number one pick be cursed?

The Jags' 2021 win over Miami at Tottenham eased the pressure on head coach Urban Meyer as it was also his first win in the NFL.

But it only delayed the inevitable as the Jags claimed just one more win before Meyer was sacked 13 games into Trevor Lawrence's season, adding to the list of coaches to be fired after their team had claimed that year's number one draft pick.

With Brian Callahan having just suffered the same fate at Tennessee, could it really be a curse?

Thumbs up if you think it is.

Maybe it's just a natural result of dumping a rookie quarterback into the worst team in the NFL from the previous season....

  20. Can wounded Eagles fly again?published at 18:07 BST 19 October 2025

Philadelphia Eagles @ Minnesota Vikings (18:00 BST)

Back-to-back defeats for the champs means the Eagles travel to Minnesota with plenty of question marks over them - but that's not exactly the first time under Nick Sirianni.

The manner of the defeat to the Giants was more of a concern than the actual result though, especially the offence where things are just not clicking - Jalen Hurts seems disconnected with his receivers and they're struggling to get Saquon Barkley cooking.

Philly's third-worst offence in in total yards facing Minnesota's defence allowing the second fewest will be the decider in this game.

As will Carson Wentz and how he plays against his former team...
