New Orleans Saints 0-3 Tennessee Titans

The Titans get on the scoreboard first in Tennessee as Joey Slye makes a 50-yard field goal

Tennessee were given excellent field position thanks to a poor Saints punt, but Cam Ward and his offence couldn't take advantage.

  2. Big play Sanderspublished at 18:21 GMT 28 December 2025

    Pittsburgh Steelers 0-3 Cleveland Browns

Pittsburgh have to punt, and on the first play of Cleveland's second possession Shedeur Sanders lands a big 42-yard completion to Cedric Tillman as Cleveland look to this time find the end zone.

The Browns definitely bossing these early stages.

    Jacksonville Jaguars 0-3 Indianapolis Colts

After coming out of retirement to help the Colts' quarterback crisis, Philip Rivers won't get a fairytale end to the season as they have already been ruled out of play-off contention.

But the 44-year-old grandfather remains under centre for Indianapolis and they have opened the scoring on the day's first possession, with Blake Grupe kicking a 33-yard field goal.

Ja'Marr Chase scores his first touchdown in eight games to give the Bengals the lead in Cincinnati.

Another season of what could've been for the Bengals - could you see Chase, Tee Higgins, or even Joe Burrow looking to get out of town this off-season?

Mayfield made 57 yards through the air, with Jalen McMillan making three grabs for 39 yards.

Early worry for the Carolina Panthers as tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders has gone down with an injury.

That's not how they wanted to begin this potentially division-clinching game.

  11. NFC play-off picture - how it standspublished at 18:03 GMT 28 December 2025

The final play-off spot in the NFC will be between the Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Bucs are in freefall. After making a 6-2 start, last week's loss at the Panthers means they have lost six of their past seven games.

But if they can get back to winning ways at Miami today, and Carolina lose to Seattle, it would set up a winner-takes-all clash for the NFC South title against the Panthers in Tampa Bay next week.

Baltimore's win at Green Bay last night means they are still in the play-off hunt and put the pressure back on Pittsburgh.

If the Steelers win at Cleveland today, they will clinch the AFC North. If they lose, the Ravens would have the chance to snatch the final play-off spot when they visit Pittsburgh next week.

Aaron Rodgers can book his play-off return tonight if his Pittsburgh Steelers win (or tie) at the Cleveland Browns.

Myles Garrett is chasing the sack record but the Browns aren't chasing much else, but it's still a division game and they're always feisty between these two sides.

Cleveland would love to throw a spanner in the works so watch out for some big hits as Pittsburgh look to dumped Baltimore out of the running and win the AFC North for the first time in five years.

New England Patriots @ New York Jets

The New England Patriots could clinch the AFC East tonight if they beat the lowly Jets and Buffalo lose the big late game against the Eagles.

Surely the 3-12 Jets won't be any match for the 12-3 Patriots? You'd think not, but the way this NFL season has gone you couldn't rule anything out.

And it is a big division rivalry game....

  15. Are Jags the real deal?published at 17:59 GMT 28 December 2025

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Indianapolis Colts (18:00)

Jacksonville have been flying of late, and last week's upset win on the road in Denver was a massive statement that they need to be taken seriously.

New head coach Liam Coen has found something extra in Trevor Lawrence, the offence has been buzzing and the defence forces turnovers at crucial times.

They have a game that looks like it'll work in the play-offs - and they still even have a shot at grabbing the AFC top spot if things go their way.

Indy started the season 7-1 but have still somehow missed the play-offs, but could they prove to be a speed bump in the Jaguars bandwagon?

Last week the Carolina Panthers beat NFC South rivals Tampa Bay to take over first place in the division, and know a win tonight could be enough to clinch top spot and a place in the play-offs.

If Bryce Young's team are to do that, then they will have to win back-to-back games for the first time since a week seven defeat of the New York Jets.

The Seattle Seahawks won't be taking this game lightly though. They're locked in a three-way battle for the NFC West and can't afford to slip up now.

After overcoming a 16-point deficit to beat the Los Angeles Rams in overtime last week, Sam Darnold and his offence just don't know when they're beaten - especially when the number one seed and a bye for the wildcard is on the line.

The options available to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are clear.

Beat the Miami Dolphins and they'll remain in the race to win the NFC South.

Lose, and a victory for the Carolina Panthers against the Seattle Seahawks would eliminate the Bucs from play-off contention.

After a blistering start to 2025, the 2020 Super Bowl champions are on a three-game losing streak and have won just one of their last seven.

They face Florida rivals Miami, who are under little pressure having already been eliminated from play-off contention.

Could this be a fatal banana skin for Baker Mayfield's Bucs?

    Welcome back NFL fans!

We're at the sharp end now and although plenty of play-off spots have already been taken there's still lots to play for tonight.

The Pittsburgh Steelers can bag the AFC North title - and eliminate Lamar Jackson's Baltimore Ravens - if they can win (or tie) in Cleveland tonight.

The Buccaneers and Panthers face big games as they battle for the NFC South crown and final play-off berth in that conference.

Jacksonville still have work to do to clinch the AFC South, but they also have a shout at the top seed in the AFC - and the Patriots have an eye on that as they visit the lowly Jets.

So stay right here as we guide you through all the twists and turns of the penultimate Sunday of regular season action in this topsy-turvy year on the gridiron.
