Rivers Governorship tribunal: Court troway AAC petition against Wike
Rivers State Governorship Election Tribunal don dismiss di petition wey di Govnorship candidate of African Action Congress AAC Biokpomabo Awara bring against di election of Governor Nyesom Wike.
Member of di tribunal Justice K.B. Olawoyin, wey read di four hours unanimous judgement also say, Govnor Wike na im win di governorship election as Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), bin declare.
Di tribunal also ask Awara to pay N300,000 ($830) each to INEC, Wike and PDP as cost.
Di tribunal say di fact say di governorship candidate of AAC and im party no agree for dia petition sotey dem take opposite side na reason enough to dismiss dis case. E add say dat one na abuse of court process.
Dis na becos while di AAC govnorship candidate Awara dey ask di court to nullify di election wey declare Wike winner and order fresh election, Di AAC Party say make di court dismiss di case as proper election na im hold.

Di tribunal wey sidon for Port Harcourt on Saturday also strike out di petition wey di govnorship candidate of Action Democratic Party Victor Fingesi bring against di election of Govnor Nyesom Wike.
Di judgement say di petition lack merit and uphold di election of Govnor Nyesom Wike as INEC declare am.

Just like e be for di AAC case, di tribunal also order make ADP candidate pay di sum of three hundred thousand naira N300,000 to each of di respondents wey be INEC, Govnor Wike and PDP.
Chairman of di Tribunal, Justice K.A Ojiako wey read di unanimous judgement say di petitioner lack di right or capacity to bring di petition for di court.ADP petition say di total number of votes wey INEC give Wike to declare am winner no dey correct and say violence spoil di elections and say INEC no use proper election materials and say no collation of results happun for wards and units.
Di Tribunal hold say INEC prove say true true election hold for all di units and wards for di State and Dem suspend di election after dem make necessary consultation as na dia right to do like dat and declare results wey dey true and di results wey Dem declare for each candidate na di result Dem score, so Dem no allocate any vote for any candidate.
Lawyer to ADP, Dolapo Tella-Attoni say im dey dissatisfied with di judgement because many of of di pronouncement wey di tribunal make no be di true position of di law as e concern di case but add say na im client naim go decide weda or not dem go appeal di case based on how im advice am, as dem still get 21 days to appeal di case for Appeal court
For di final address, di lawyer to di AAC candidate , Emenike Ebete bin don ask di tribunal to grant all di request say election no hold for Rivers State so make di court cancel di election of Governor Wike and order for fresh elections.
But lawyer to AAC party, Henry Bello ask di court to dismiss Awara case because di party go stand by di truth and also based on video evidence wey show wen INEC declare di results.
