War Reporting Units Howard Marshall (R) was one of the BBC's special correspondents, but was ordered back to the UK by General Alexander after a censorship slip. In the summer of 1943 he set up the BBC's two "War Reporting Units" – teams of seven containing a mixture of reporters, producers and engineers. |
