Some pictures might give the impression all the action in Swindon is happening in a big hall - but the count is actually happening in a museum.
Candidates can be seen popping out to make the odd phone call beside old steam locomotives and urns for tea are making their way down platforms.
One of Swindon's claims to fame is its railway history - it had an extensive railway works and the count is happening inside museum STEAM.

Swindon Borough Council has two more Reform UK councillors.
Lawrence Rudyard Davies and Derek James O'Hanlon have been elected in Rodbourne Cheney.
The number of Reform councillors in the borough is now up to six.

Calum Murphy is 18 years old, making him the youngest candidate standing. His main motivation for getting into politics? He's a young carer for his mum.
"I hope I can make a change for people like my mum," he tells us.
He says he wants to get more young people into politics. "If I can do it, you can do it," he adds.
When he told his mum he was "running", she assumed he meant a marathon, but is incredibly proud he's so engaged with politics.

This election is expected to be the last for Cheltenham Borough Council, with elected councillors serving only two years instead of the usual four.
It forms part of a government‑led plan to end the current two‑tier system of local government in Gloucestershire.
The current seven district and county councils will be replaced by new unitary authorities by 2028, which will deliver all local services in one place.

Wroughton has elected Liberal Democrat Martin John Barrett, making him the first of the party's candidates to be elected in the borough this election.

The other two seats have been taken by the Conservatives, with Gayle Elaine Cooke and Matty Courtliff also elected.

The current council leader Jim Robbins has kept his seat in Old Town and Lawn.
Our Local Democracy Reporter Peter Davison spoke to him earlier, where he described the wait as "nerve wracking".
The turnout for the ward was over 50%.
The wait is still on to see if Labour will keep control of the council.
He has been elected alongside fellow Labour members Nadine Watts and Neil Lawrence Hopkins.

Labour councillor Kevin Small has been re-elected in Swindon.
He is in Rodbourne, Ferndale and Western and says he's "relieved" and "really pleased for us in our ward - we have a long track record of serving the community".
Kevin has spent decades as a councillor and says people on the doorstep told him the party had done well in Swindon - although he says the national trend has not done them any favours.
"I'm confident we will be able to be the largest party - I don't think we'll take control, but will be the largest party."
If that does happen, he says it's too early to say who else they'd be willing to work with.

In a last minute twist in Cheltenham, Reform have taken control of Hester's Way ward from the Lib Dems by a very narrow margin.
With a 27% turnout in this ward, it was likely just a handful of votes separating the candidates. The result required a recount due to the close finish.
It means Reform secure a seat on Cheltenham Borough Council with one councillor elected.
The final tally?

- Greens - 2
- Reform - 1
