ADMIRAL LORD COLLINGWOOD Burial at St Paul's Cathedral
Collingwood died off the coast of Minorca in 1810. His body was brought back to England and interred in St Paul's Cathedral alongside Horatio Nelson. Crew man Robert Hay described him as follows - "a better seaman, a better friend to seamen - a more zealous defender of the country's rights and honour, never trod the quarterdeck".
