  1. Swedenpublished at 20:12 BST 9 May 2017

Don't worry though, viewers you can stop hiding behind the sofa; if Robin stacks it he'll probably be just fine. In 2010 he participated in the Swedish version of Total Wipeout and finished in 2nd place. He also competed as a motor cross rider for 12 years. Want to see a photo of him getting his tattoos out next to his motorbike? Oh go on then...

So sorry to bring this up Sweden, but Christine and the Queens just called? She wants her outfits back. Seriously, her backing dancers are standing naked in the backstage area of 'Later...with Jools Holland' and they are FREEZING.

  3. Swedenpublished at 20:09 BST 9 May 2017

First up is Sweden's entry Robin Bengtsson. Ah yes, nothing like a good treadmill to rake in a few extra voters. No doubt taking some solid inspiration from Ok Go's iconic video from 2009, external. And let's not forget Sakis Rouvis 'I don't do up the buttons on my shirt' entry for Greece in 2009.

  4. Meet the hostspublished at 20:04 BST 9 May 2017

For first time in Eurovision's illustrious history, our show is being hosted by three charming chaps: Volodymyr, Oleksandr and Timur.

For those of you out there who know your Disney Princes, you might recognise the smooth tones of Volodymyr; he was the voice of Hans in the Ukrainian version of Frozen. Here he is giving us a blast of 'Love Is an Open Door' in Ukrainian.

  5. In it to win itpublished at 19:52 BST 9 May 2017

Last month we got some of the contestants to have a clutch of the iconic glass microphone Eurovision trophy.

It is the work of 71 year old designer Kjell Engman. The glass artist (oh what an enviable dating app profile he must have) made it in 2008 and it has been the official trophy for the competition every year since then.

Let's just hope this year's winner doesn't do an Alexander Rybak and snap it in half minutes after receiving it, external. Ukrainian for 'butter fingers' is масла пальці

  7. 30 mins to go...published at 19:31 BST 9 May 2017

...and the anticipation is absolutely killing us.

Why not take a break from meticulously painting a Union Jack on your face and work out what your Eurovision song name would be (yes, this actually happening).

Our two BBC Presenters have already stepped up to the mark. Scott would be singing 'Burning Love' (woops, sorry Elvis Presley, external) and Mel would be blasting out a rendition of 'Gravity Line' (oh just IMAGINE the outfits!).

  9. Here comes Lucie!published at 17:31 BST 9 May 2017

    UK Competitor Lucie Jones

Stop what you're doing and unfurl those Union Jacks.

We can now reveal that tonight's semi-final will also feature a sneak peek of the UK's entry, Lucie Jones who will be giving us a preview of her epic ballad  'Never Give Up On You.'

As a member of the Eurovision's Big Five, the UK automatically qualifies for the Grand Final but why wait till Saturday, eh? Good luck Lucie!

Here's a clip of how she was sounding in the dress rehearsal yesterday, blasting off pyros like the 4th of July.
