    The iconic venue in South Kensington is another of the Art Fund Museum of the Year winners

    The Science Museum, external is home to one of the world's largest archives of scientific, technological and medical history, with over 300,000 original objects and more than 285 interactive exhibits. Highlights include the Apollo 10 command module and Tim Peake's Soyuz Spacecraft.

  9. "Another Warhol exhibition? Surely we've heard everything about him."published at 14:22 BST 15 October 2020

    Days before lockdown began in March, the Tate Modern had just opened a major new Andy Warhol exhibition. As part of Museums in Quarantine, Alistair Sooke was able to take a last look around before the doors closed. In this film he argues that Warhol might just be the most significant artist of the second half of the 20th century.

    Dan and Sasha are joined by a panel of directors and curators to talk about the role that museums play in our communities today:

    • Marie Rose-Tulley is Museum & Archive Manager for Croydon Council, delivering the cultural transformation of the Borough and part of the successful bid team for Borough of Culture 2023.
    • Sue John is part of the Senior Management Team at Glasgow Women’s Library, which was nominated for Art Fund Museum of the Year in 2018.
    • Will Tresgaskes is Museum Co-ordinator at the Cynon Valley Museum, where he manages the exhibition and digital programme, volunteers and internal income streams. His core ethos is to make the museum needed by the community.
