You
guys have come to Bradford Mela today on short notice haven't you? Metz: Very short notice Trix: You know what it was? One of the band members of Trick
Baby hurt themselves and we weren't actually billed, then all of
a sudden we got a phone call saying: 'Yo! Can you come to Bradford?'
And we were there man! At the end of the day Bradford is at the
heart of our music. A lot of people here respect it and love it.
Most of our fans and support are in Bradford so it's big!
You're
doing two gigs today, are you doing a couple of different sets? Metz: That's it! We're going to play something brand new
because we've not touched down at Bradford for a long time so we're
gonna play some new tunes from Get Ready Get Set. Trix: Trust me, the sets are absolutely live-o! Get Ready
Get Set for them!
Are
you going to play some of the old skool tracks as well? Both: Without a doubt!
And
maybe some new material as well?
Trix: Definitely, but I can't tell you, you'll just have to
wait!
Have
you played at Bradford Mela before?
Trix: I think I've done a few clubs here a long time ago. Metz: We're just glad to be playing at the first Mela of
the season and probably the biggest Mela. So you've got to come
here and represent PROPER!
What
makes Bradford Mela what it is?
Trix: Look at the size of it! There's over a hundred thousand
people! Metz: It's the core man! The core! Trix: The stage is huge and we couldn't ask for more! Thank
you Bradford!
