No charges against Kitten star
Liz McClarnon, Natasha Hamilton, and Jenny Frost
Atomic Kitten have had major chart success
Police say charges against Atomic Kitten singer Jenny Frost over an alleged disturbance have been dropped.

Lothian and Borders Police were called to a disturbance at the launch party for a new Harvey Nichols department store in Edinburgh.

Officers now say they are no longer investigating the alleged incident at the party last Wednesday.

The 24-year-old singer and fashion photographer Hazel Mall, 27, were both questioned.

A police spokeswoman said: "The charges relating to the incident were dropped and police are no longer involved in the matter."

Album launch

Guests at the party included Ewan McGregor, Robert Carlyle, DJ and actor Goldie, Kylie Minogue's former partner James Gooding and Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher's ex-wife Meg Mathews.

The 700 guests reportedly consumed 700 bottles of champagne, 500 bottles of white wine, 10 crates of vodka and 15,000 canapes.

Frost was in Edinburgh on Monday with the other members of the pop trio to promote the release of their latest album.

The Merseyside group are currently number one in the singles charts with their cover of Blondie's The Tide Is High.

They have enjoyed massive chart success since their formation by former Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark frontman Andy McCluskey.
