Calls to help carers with careers
A wheelchair
Carers who look after sick relatives need more help.
A group in Jersey which supports people who act as carers for members of their family is calling for more help for the carers themselves.

The Jersey Association of Carers wants its members to be able to enjoy the everyday things in life it says other people take for granted.

It is calling for more flexible working arrangements for those who want to work and continue to look after relatives.

At the moment it claims its members career prospects are being blighted.
