    Hampshire Hawks 115-7 v Durham

Hampshire have struggled to pick up boundaries with any great deal of consistency. Credit to the bowling and fielding from Durham.

Just four singles from the over by Katie Levick.

    Hampshire Hawks 111-7 v Durham

Naomi Dattani gets away with one big time.

Poppy Tulloch comes back for two, but Dattani hesitates and the throw comes into Heather Graham, but the bowler cannot gather cleanly and ends up taking the bails off with her hands rather than ball.

Dattani wasn't even in shot and would've been a long way out if Graham had executed well.

Still a very solid over from Graham that goes for just six runs.

Brilliant over by Katie Levick. Just one run from it and a wicket to boot.

There is indeed a very fine nick from Amanda-Jade Wellington, who was attempting the reverse sweep against Katie Levick.

Great catch by Mia Rogers behind the stumps, moving sharply to her left, and Wellington has to go.

    Hampshire Hawks 105-6 v Durham

Big appeal from Durham wicketkeeper Mia Rogers, who is convinced Katie Levick has found the outside edge of Amanda-Jade Wellington's bat.

Durham are reviewing the not out decision.

They're in a bit of trouble, Hampshire, trouble and strife. They need to pump up this run rate. They are leaving it a little late. We're into the death overs now.

100 up for Hampshirepublished at 15 overs

    Hampshire Hawks 104-6 v Durham

Wickets have been tumbling for Hampshire but Naomi Dattani is undeterred.

She plays a lovely shot with a flick of the wrists towards deep backward square for a one-bounce four off Sophia Turner.

Amanda-Jade Wellington ends the over with a sweet cover drive which races away for four to go with three singles and a wide outside off stump from Turner.

That's the 100 up for the Hawks.

Not that complicated really why smith and bell were not picked she wanted to reward the players that got them there smith and bell didn’t play

    Stephen, Fareham

Which is fair enough... but, it IS Final's Day... what do you think of this? Stay loyal to the ones who got you there or pick your best possible XI?

  9. Postpublished at 14 overs

    Hampshire Hawks 92-6 v Durham

A single for Naomi Dattani to end the over from Lauren Filer but just four runs from it, as well as the wicket of Rhianna Southby.

Work to do for Hampshire to post a meaningful target.

Why did Adams leave Lindsay Smith and Lauren Bell out of the team, when both were available? Villiers and Filer are playing for Durham.

    Colin, Bournemouth

A very good question, Colin, we presume all will become clear after this match is over.

Something about batting first at the Oval in the Women's T20 Blast this season that is not ideal.

Seven games played before this one in 2026 and seven wins for the team batting second.

Are we about to see it happen again here?

  12. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 13.2 overs

    Southby c Heath b Filer 14 (Hampshire Hawks 89-6 v Durham)

Another one goes. Rhianna Southby has been trying to hit the ball out of the ground the past few overs and it proves her undoing.

Southby spoons one straight to Bess Heath at mid-on off Lauren Filer and she goes for 14.

Durham are in the ascendancy here.

    Hampshire Hawks 88-5 v Durham

So close to another wicket for Durham but Rhianna Southby gets a tad fortunate.

Southby hits it high into the air over the head of Mady Villiers and Heather Graham is coming in from long-on but can't quite get there and it runs away for four.

Southby is undeterred and continues to go for it, hitting into the air over mid-wicket for two before picking up a single.

Naomi Dattani then takes a dangerous single to Hollie Armitage at mid-wicket, who misses with the throw with Dattani a long, long way short of her ground.

    Entertaining over.

That was very nicely taken. For a moment there I thought it was going to be flying out of the ground for a six, but it just dipped.

Those catches are incredibly difficult to judge. Well done to Mady Villiers in the deep. For Hampshire, it's yet another wicket that goes down.

Mady Villiers is a very safe pair of hands, but judging the boundary rope as well is also really difficult to do.

Two singles apiece for Nancy Harman and Rhianna Southby before Harman tries to go big off Sophia Turner but can only find Mady Villiers on the deep mid-wicket boundary.

Wickets are coming at regular intervals for Durham and it's slowing up the scoring for Hampshire.

A simple catch in the deep for a fielder of Villiers' ability.

  16. Postpublished at 11 overs

    Hampshire Hawks 74-4 v Durham

Another timely boundary for Hampshire as Nancy Harman helps it on its way around the corner from Katie Levick for four on the legside.

That goes with four singles and a wide from the over. Nine from it.

Maia Bouchier has been in superb nick when she's played for Hampshire. That was a blow her going for seven.

Ella McCaughan has been a bit in and out in this competition - 23 from her today. Georgia Adams has been superb.

Losing those three...it's a big blow.

  18. Postpublished at 10 overs

    Hampshire Hawks 65-4 v Durham

Lauren Filer serves up a bit of a gift with a legside full toss to Rhianna Southby, but Southby can only pick up a single to deep backward square.

Hampshire were getting slightly bogged down but Nancy Harman hits the first boundary in five overs, thumping down the ground for four.

The projected total is 130 as things stand. The Hawks need to up the ante soon you feel.

  19. Postpublished at 9 overs

    Hampshire Hawks 60-4 v Durham

Two fairly new batters at the crease for Hampshire in the shape of Nancy Harman and Rhianna Southby, who have to start a bit of a rebuild now.

From 50-2 at the end of the powerplay, the Hawks are 60-4 after nine overs and haven't hit a boundary for four overs.

Five from the over by Heather Graham.

That is a tortuous wicket for Hampshire. It is certainly not what was expected. The direct hit prompted them to go upstairs, but I think it was an afterthought that the bat would be grounded.

That isn't a nice way to get out - your bat is over the line but not slid along. When you run 100m, you run it as though it is 105m and dip down afterwards - you don't stop.
