Cloudy for many tonight with rain pushing further eastwards, becoming heavy and persistent in western England and Wales. Rain clearing to clear spells and the odd shower in the north-west though.
Monday
Tomorrow will start cloudy with heavy rain pushing eastwards across England and Wales. Sunshine developing by the evening. Northern Ireland and western Scotland will be breezy with scattered showers.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday
Tuesday and Wednesday will see a mixture of scattered thundery showers and sunny spells. The showers will be more constrained to eastern areas during the afternoon on Wednesday. A cool few days with temperatures remaining below average. Thursday will become cloudy and breezy. Outbreaks of rain will move in from the west, heavy at times in western areas.
