The story of the swallows' epic annual migration to South Africa.

Swallows migrate to Africa during our winter, flying for six weeks, at up to two hundred miles a day. An examination of this long perilous journey with film of the birds flying and a look at how the swallows' arrival is viewed by South African school children in what is their summer.
