Preparations for the annual autumn migration of the Darhad tribe in Mongolia.

Exploration of lifestyles of the Darhad tribe, a nomadic people living in Mongolia. In the autumn the tribe migrates over the mountains to their winter pastures on horseback and this film shows preparations for the journey including distribution of the winter salt for animals.
