Description of the creation of coal seams in the Blaenavon area.

Description of how coal was first created examining the area around Blaenavon in the south Wales valleys. Trees fall making peat layers which are then crushed by layers of sandstone caused by movements in the river channels. These crushed layers become the coal seams.
