Study of Blaenavon, by now designated as a World Heritage Site at the head of the south Wales valleys, featuring footage of The Big Pit mining museum and the ruins of the Blaenavon ironworks. The importance of the coal industry to the development of the settlement as a community is discussed in a variety of ways.
