Memories of starting work at Bersham colliery at age 15.

An ex-miner remembers starting work underground at Bersham colliery ( in the north east Wales coalfield) at age 15 and his first job there. He discusses safety measures in the pits, including the tally and the Davy Lamp, focussing on problems in safety underground that he remembered from the time.
