"It's not unheard of for people to cancel holidays just to play their games and get their points."

Transcript

"I met my friends through a shared love of having the best time possible whilst doing nothing. Typical students apparently.

As time has moved on I've seen people leave, come back, begin families and realise dreams. But Friday nights never change.

In the summer the Killer Pool League is a reason for us all to get together, get each other drunk, have a game and remember when life was simpler.

It's become such a tradition that it's not unheard of for people to cancel holidays just to play their games and get their points.

I'm not the greatest of pool players but I think the night is less about the pool and more about just making time for each other no matter how busy how lives may get.

In December I'll be moving away, but for now, Friday night will always be set aside for each other and I'd like to think that years from now I'll be able to come back and be met by a friendly face and a freshly poured pint."

"My friends and I have get together for drinks and a yearly bowling game which is always a riot to attend. Hearing your story reminds me of the fun times we have and makes September seem so far away. Well done, and watching your story makes me wanna make my own for our next get together. Thanks."
