1950: Woman's Hour - 1,000th Edition

Four husbands discuss whether they would like to have more than one wife and, in doing so, reveal many of their thoughts about the limitations of women. A further conversation about charm and glamour suggests that the most important feminine quality might be a willingness to pay attention to men. Pioneering DIY presenters Barry Bucknell and WP Matthew take part in this supposedly tongue-in-cheek debate.
