1957: Peckham teenager's heroic rescue revisited

Revisiting the 1957 story of teenager Maureen Roose nee Stumbles, who recounted to Leonard Parkin how she saved a woman from drowning in the sea at Westcliffe, Essex. She was commended for her bravery by the Royal Humane Society, which has now reissued her lost certificate.
