Hewitt eyes Safin revenge
Hewitt (left) lost 7-6 (7/4) 6-0 6-4 to Safin in Paris
Lleyton Hewitt has been handed a chance to gain quick revenge over Marat Safin after the pair were drawn in the same group at the Shanghai Masters.
Safin, ranked third in the world, beat world number one Hewitt in straight sets in the Paris Masters on Sunday.
The other group in Shanghai is headed by world number two Andre Agassi. The American goes into the season-ending tournament still in with a chance of replacing Hewitt at the top of the rankings. Agassi will start the event 88 points behind the Australian, with 150 up for grabs in China. Group One: Lleyton Hewitt Marat Safin Carlos Moya Albert Costa
