Farina-Elia dumps Dokic
Farina-Elia picked up $27,000 for her victory
Italy's Silvia Farina-Elia came out on top in a tough match against top seed Jelena Dokic to win the Strasbourg Open.
Second seed Farina-Elia triumphed 6-4 3-6 6-3 on the clay in eastern France to claim the $27,000 (£18,500) top prize. The start of the match was delayed for more than an hour because of rain in Strasbourg.
