Adrian Morley looks set to extend his current deal at the Sydney Roosters.

The Great Britain international's contract with the NRL champions lasts until the end of next season.

And the Roosters star said he has no immediate plans to return to his Lancashire home and the Tetley's Super League.

"I'm still only 25 so I can extend this deal if the Roosters want me and I wanted to stay here," he said.

"When I have been free of injury and playing, it's been going really well.

"In fact, I've been having the best time of my career here and, if that goes on like that, I'm going to extend my deal."

Morley has enjoyed unprecedented success in Australia this season after overcoming a back complaint.

The former Leeds Rhino player helped take his side to a convincing victory in the NRL Grand Final against the New Zealand Warriors.

And he looks set to be an integral part of Britain's side to take on New Zealand in November's three-Test series.

He is currently back at his Salford home preparing for the touring Kiwis.

But despite being reunited with his friends and family, he has not yet succumbed to the temptation of home comforts.

"I wouldn't mind playing in the Super League again at some stage," he said.

"Actually I'm sure I'll come back here but maybe later on in my career."

The second rower's time in Sydney has not all gone smoothly, with injury hampering his progress at the club he joined in 2000.

"It has been up and down here and it's depressing when you get injured, especially as you're so far away from home," he said.

"The last two years I have not had the best of luck with the injuries.

"But I have played the last eight games and my back has felt absolutely great."
