But Allan Border survived a scare or two in making 196 at Lord's as Australia squared the series
After two draws England took control at Edgbaston with Tim Robinson one of three centurions
Ian Botham dismissed Craig McDermott to seal England's victory at Edgbaston
This prompted Richard Ellison and skipper David Gower to start the celebrations
And another victory at The Oval gave England a 3-1 victory as they regained the Ashes
