Argentine Suarez and her Spanish partner beat Russian second seeds Svetlana Kuznetsova and Elena Likhovtseva 6-0 6-3.
The winners, playing in their ninth consecutive Grand Slam doubles final, collected their sixth title - only Wimbledon is missing from their haul.
The match and its outcome was a repeat of the 2004 Australian Open final.
