Rutter lead reduced by rival pair
Michael Rutter
Michael Rutter finished fifth and third at Snetterton
Michael Rutter had his lead at the top of the British Superbike Championship cut after Gregorio Lavilla and Ryuichi Kiyonari picked up wins in round nine.

The Briton, on the HM Plant Honda, led the first race at Silverstone before an error let Lavilla move ahead.

In the second outing, Kiyonari led almost from the start, during a race that was restarted after a crash.

The Japanese rider is now only 26 points behind Rutter while Lavilla is a further four points adrift.
