Foster reprimanded
Andy Flower & James Foster
Flower and Foster square up during the match
England's James Foster has escaped with a severe reprimand following an angry confrontation with Zimbabwe's Andy Flower during the third one-day match.

Match referee Colonel Naushad Ali decided against taking further disciplinary action against England's wicketkeeper after talking to Foster, his captain Nasser Hussain and Zimbabwe's Flower.

All three were warned about their future conduct after the scenes in Harare on Sunday.

Foster and Flower squared up to each other and exchanged angry words before being parted by umpire Ian Robinson after an appeal for caught behind off Flower was turned down.

Colonel Ali decided decided to let both players off with a warning after speaking to them at the end of the stormy match.

Hussain has been warned about violating code two of the code of conduct, which states that captains are responsible for "ensuring that play is conducted in the spirit of the game".

He was involved in an earlier incident with Flower during England's four-wicket win.

Colonel Ali has warned that he will be closely scrutinising the conduct of both sides during the final two matches in the series at Bulawayo on Wednesday and Saturday.
