Aston Villa have announced a new front-of-shirt sponsor for the 2026-27 season, with president of business operations Francesco Calvo stating the deal is a "symbol of the club's continuing expansion".
Visit Rwanda will become the club's principle partner, official tourism partner and official coffee provider - and the Rwandan Development Board's branding will appear on the front of all men's, women's and academy kits.
"This is a very exciting partnership for Aston Villa," Calvo said. "There is a great range and depth of opportunities for collaboration, learning and innovation.
"We are looking forward to working with Visit Rwanda to deliver meaningful activations through tourism, investment and sporting development."
Supporters who have already purchased the new home kit will be able to take their shirt into an Aston Villa store to have the sponsor branding printed free of charge.
'I'm hoping Jimoh-Aloba gets a fair chance to impress'published at 12:27 BST 14 July

We asked for your views on which players you're most excited to see in action during pre-season.
Here are some of your comments:
Nelly: Any Villa player that comes back from the World Cup without an injury .
Chay: To be honest, excited to see the same team playing. This, to me, means we didn't sell anyone by force and shows that Villa are more confident to go on with the core players. Plus, to see the new Europa League champions in action.
Andy: It's hard to tell with this pre-season as most of our players will be missing. With the three loan deals all finishing and no new signings yet it will be mainly the youth players.
Prit: Really disappointed that Villa have let go of Louie Barry. In my opinion, he was a great prospect that the manager never gave a proper opportunity to. They should have given him a spell in the first team and then revaluate. To give him a new contract and the send him on loan nine times is, quite frankly, unacceptable.
Rob: I'm hoping Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba and Kosta Nedeljkovic get a fair chance to impress Unai Emery in pre-season. Jimoh-Aloba for his performances that won us the FA Youth Cup in 2024-25 and helped beat Salzburg in the Europa League, and Kosta for competition with Matty Cash.

'Tielemans will be a huge miss'... 'he makes the team tick'published at 17:43 BST 13 July

We asked for your views on Aston Villa midfielder Youri Tielemans being in advanced talks over a move to Manchester United.
Here are some of your comments:
Mark: Tielemans will be a huge miss for Villa as he is consistent week in, week out. His partnership with Boubacar Kamara is the outlet to move the ball forward. Always a key part of most of Villa break away goals, great with a free-kick and can finish. Big blow after a successful season.
Rob: His time at Leicester was inconsistent but Unai Emery has helped develop a pivotal player for us. With Kamara needing time to recover, Amadou Onana sidelined and John McGinn maybe nearing the end of his career, this doesn't look good.
Simon: A big blow. Probably our most consistent midfielder. The team looks better with him in it. On the other side it could help to get his - likely - high wages out the club and lower the age of the squad as well.
Kelvin: Tielemans leaving is a blow, but not insurmountable. If we sign him, Johan Manzambi is nine years younger and will only get better under Emery. The fee for Tielemans is pure profit on the books and we know Villa have to manage the finances carefully to keep Uefa off our backs. Ultimately, if Youri leaving means we can hold on to Morgan Rogers for at least one more year, it makes perfect sense.
Mike: This would be an absolute disaster. Youri was central to so much of what Villa achieved last season. Release clauses are idiotic. Clubs just shouldn't offer them. Either the player wants the contract duration or he doesn't.
Dan: If Youri leaves, then he does so with my best wishes. We signed him on a free and, after a slow start, he has become integral not only to our midfield but to our whole system. He got the ball rolling in the Europa League final with a wonderful volley and he is an all-round class act. While I will be gutted if goes, I know it was only because our hand was forced by PSR. UTV.
Ryan: Really gutted. I understand everyone will talk about age, profile and wages, but he makes the team tick. Maybe Lucas Bergvall to replace him?

Paris St-Germain have opened talks to re-sign Aston Villa full-back Lucas Digne.
The 32-year-old is believed to have a release clause in his contract, reportedly worth over £8.5m.
Digne would welcome a return to the back-to-back Champions League winners, who he was with between 2013 and 2016.
If the transfer ends up happening, Digne - who is with France at the World Cup and set to face Spain in the semi-finals on Tuesday - would compete with Nuno Mendes for a place in the starting line-up at Parc des Princes.
Villa have so far signed Modou Keba Cisse from Austrian club LASK and seen Donyell Malen join Roma after a loan spell, with Enzo Barrenechea and Louie Barry also leaving on permanent deals.
Digne joined Villa from Everton in 2022 for £25m and has made 182 appearances for Unai Emery's Europa League winners.

Manchester United are in advanced talks to sign Aston Villa midfielder Youri Tielemans.
BBC Sport has been told Tielemans' Villa contract contains a release clause, which makes negotiations easier, and that a deal is close.
The 29-year-old has been on United's radar for considerable time and has a wealth of Premier League experience, which the club feel is a significant positive.
Would do you make of the potential sale of Tielemans? How big a blow would it be to lose him to United? Is he easily replaceable and by whom?

Sign Stones but don't bring Sancho back? Free agents and who to avoidpublished at 14:44 BST 6 July

We asked for your views on which free agents Aston Villa could target this summer and whether there is one player Villa are linked with but you hope they never sign.
Here are some of your comments:
Elliot: Feel like Oscar Mingueza would be great cover for Matty Cash. Julian Brandt is still quality, with Champions League experience, and feel like we desperately need a winger. Harry Wilson or Jadon Sancho would also be useful on a free with our financial constraints.
Dez: The list of World Cup freebies are all far too old. We need some young blood in there as they possibly wouldn't be demanding stupid salaries just yet. As for the suggestion of Sancho resigning - it would be as bad as having Anwar el Ghazi back.
Prit: Villa need back-up in defence as it's pretty well Ezri Konsa plus one other. If the wages work out, I would give John Stones a call, but if I were a betting man I think he may end up back at Everton.
Andrew: Stones would be great for Villa. Although Tyrone Mings has been a great servant, he needs to move on.
