Hassan has over 160 caps for Egypt

Egypt veteran Hossam Hassan came off the bench to score both goals in a 2-0 win for the Pharaohs over Gabon in Cairo.
Hassan, who only came in as a substitute in the 75th minute, scored the opener
in the last minute of the match when he superbly finished off Mohamed Abu
Treka's cross.
And he netted the second in the fifth minute of stoppage time after he made
no mistake from a penalty kick, sending the keeper the wrong way to double
his score.
As well as the goals, the final minutes of an intensely dramatic friendly also saw the sending off of two Gabon players - Thiodor received his second booking three minutes before the final whistle while Guy was
sent off due to his aggressive reaction after the referee, Auda, rewarded
the home side a second penalty kick.
At one point it appeared the match would be called off when the Gabon side walked off the
pitch protesting the referee's decision of rewarding the home side a second
penalty, but their Brazilian boss, Jairzinho, convinced his players to
continue.
The Pharaohs started the match with a youthful side, and they were rewarded a
penalty kick after only 10 minutes - but league top scorer Abdel Halim Ali
failed to convert it, his feeble shot being easily saved by the Gabon goalkeeper.
The visitors played a tough and aggressive game, which resulted in the injury of
Mohamed Abdalla, who left the pitch after 20 minutes with a broken wrist.
This injury will force him to miss his country's trip to Sudan in the World
Cup qualifier.
