Captain Heath Streak pushed Zimbabwe to a revenge 14-run win over Bangladesh in the fourth one-day international.

Streak hit 45, sharing a stand of 76 with Sean Ervine (50), to lead the home side from 79-5 to a challenging 242-8.

And he then claimed figures of 4-30 as the Tigers, who scored a surprise win in the last match, were bowled out for 228 in the final over.

Mushfiqur Rahman (49) helped put on 54 for the sixth wicket and Khaled Mashud made 41 but it was not enough.

The tourists made a subdued start in reply and when they tried to up the pace Streak struck in three successive overs.

Mohammad Ashraful steadied proceedings when he was joined by Mushfiqur.

And when the youngster was caught off spinner Ray Price for 31 former skipper Mahmud picked up the pace in a 51-ball innings.

But despite two fours and a six, Mushfiqur was unable to score quickly enough to challenge.

After a short delay for rain, Streak was back in action to run Mohammad Rafique out for a cavalier 26, bowl Baisya for a duck and catch last man Mashud in the deep.

"We fielded a lot better today and stuck to the gameplan. We took the chances when they came our way and we didn't do that on Wednesday," said Streak.

Opposite number Habibul Bashar said the failure of Bangladesh's top order had been decisive.

"I was pleased with the way we fought back after losing early wickets, but we had lost too many and that cost us."
