Zizou Bergs is in a terrible situation right now as a tennis player where he is trying not to think about the past and trying to stay in the present. We have all had this feeling of choking on court and it is horrible to play under these circumstances.

His coach has just been smiling with him, he is trying to break him and trying to relax him before this tie-break. The Belgian isn't having it whatsoever, he can feel the tension.

The drama in this game has been brilliant.

    Job done for Flavio Cobolli.

He waggles a finger towards his team as victory is secured, and after shaking hands with Karen Khachanov and the chair umpire, walks back on to court and does a little dance.

"It was a bet with my coach," he says.

The Italian is through to the fourth round at Wimbledon for the second successive year.

    *Bergs 6-2 5-7 6-2 5-6 Fery

Arthur Fery continues to ask questions of Zizou Bergs at 30-30 and thinks he has a break point until it's deemed his forehand landed just long of the baseline.

But he does get to deuce.

    Madison Keys levels it up.

It's a brilliant forehand winner, ripped to the Amanda Anisimova's backhand side that clinches the second set.

An excellent response from Keys after going a set down. We're going to a decider on Centre Court.

With no Carlos Alcaraz this year, Flavio Cobolli is providing the crowd-pleasing, sparkling tennis. What a match against Karen Khachanov. A superb five-setter.

  11. 'Fery using scoreboard pressure to his advantage'published at 17:21 BST 4 July

    *Bergs 6-2 5-7 6-2 5-6 Fery

    Kyle Edmund
Former British number one on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra 2

Arthur Fery has got past the mindset he had been in. He was playing too freely, hitting lots of errors and putting lots of balls out the court, but he has tightened things up now. It is like he has almost realised the situation and realised he was giving too much away.

He is using the scoreboard pressure to his advantage. He knows Zizou Bergs is going to be nervous to see this out and he has closed this set right down.

  12. Fery holdspublished at 17:20 BST 4 July

    *Bergs 6-2 5-7 6-2 5-6 Fery

A pretty routine service game from Arthur Fery as he wraps up a hold to 15.

The final British hope in the singles draw is refusing to go without a real scrap.

Fery is guaranteed at least a tie-break to decide this fourth set.

  13. 'Bergs' brain let him down'published at 17:18 BST 4 July

    Bergs 6-2 5-7 6-2 5-5 Fery*

    Greg Rusedski
Former British number one on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra 2

It is unbelievable how the mind can play tricks on you because these should just be comfortable, easy, routine games. He should've been able to serve like that in the past two breaks, but his brain just let him down mentally.

  14. Giron holdspublished at 17:18 BST 4 July

    Giron 2-6 6-7 (4-7) 1-3 Zverev*

Alexander Zverev's forehand has done a lot of the heavy lifting today but he's also showed his deft of touch with some fine drop shots.

The German brings up two more break points but Marcos Giron does brilliantly to recover and see out the game.

Giron just about stays alive in this third-round match.

  15. Bergs holdspublished at 17:17 BST 4 July

    Bergs 6-2 5-7 6-2 5-5 Fery*

Speaking of the mind, how does Zizou Bergs recover mentally to this turnaround?

He seems to have moved on quickly as he gets to 40-15 but his progress is stalled by a beautiful forehand winner from Arthur Fery.

Bergs wraps up the hold with a net volley.

  16. Keys closing in on second setpublished at 17:17 BST 4 July

    *Anisimova 6-3 2-5 Keys

Both players race through service games and that is good news for Madison Keys as it means she'll be serving for the second set after the change of ends - if she doesn't break Anisimova first.

There were signs of real frustration from Amanda Anisimova there. She's not been able to put it together in this set.

Gareth Southgate seems to be enjoying it in the Royal Box, though.

  17. 'All in the mind'published at 17:15 BST 4 July

    *Bergs 6-2 5-7 6-2 4-5 Fery

    John Lloyd
Former GB Davis Cup captain on BBC Two

Fery thought he was out. Bergs thought he had won it and was thinking ahead and got tight.

Unbelievable. It's all in the mind.

Those that braved the long queues to get a seat on court 18 and reaping the rewards now.

Arthur Fery has certainly taken us on a journey but the final destination is yet to be decided.

  20. Fery holdspublished at 17:14 BST 4 July

    *Bergs 6-2 5-7 6-2 4-5 Fery

Arthur Fery needs to take a deep breath here to make sure he doesn't just run on emotions going into this service game.

Zizou Bergs fires long and Fery is just a point away from a hold. He gets it and is just a game shy of taking the set.

All the pressure is on Bergs now. What a turnaround.
