Nick Kyrgios has not allowed Aryna Sabalenka to play the way she'd like to play this match. She isn't allowed to be aggressive the way she normally is.

A nice combo from Nick Kyrgios as he lands a drop shot and races to the net to reach Aryna Sabalenka's return, sending it into the empty court left behind.

That sets him in good stead as he grabs the hold.

It's all a bit subdued around the arena.

Nick Kyrgios casually fires back a return on Aryna Sabalenka's serve, but she responds with an equally excellent backhand winner.

The women's world number one doesn't get the next serve right, gifting Kyrgios the chance to break back.

Another backhand winner claws a point back for Sabalenka, but then she goes wide and we're back level in this second set.

This is really good training and preparation for Sabalenka. This can only stand her in good stead.

A bit of back and forth on deuce before Nick Kyrgios cleans up his game, swiping away a forehand winner before sending back a brilliant backhand, around the net post and in.

Nick Kyrgios is still trying to entertain with the underarm serve, but Aryna Sabalenka is alert to it now.

The Australian jokingly mimics one of Sabalenka's groans and she responds with a blistering winner, roaring out loud as she sends it cross court for a 30-15 lead.

Sabalenka pushes the next point into the net before calling for a 60-second time-out, which she uses to perform the Macarena!

Even with the smaller court, he can strike the ball with power into space. Kyrgios definitely has the ability to step it up if he wants too.

Another break point for Nick Kyrgios as he blasts a forehand winner down the line.

But he can't grab the opportunity, planting a return into the net before sending a forehand wide.

He's not happy. He reckons it's in.

After missing a couple of serves, Aryna Sabalenka lands a huge one to save the first break point.

Nick Kyrgios struggles to deal with the next one, too, but we go back to deuce after Sabalenka fires long.
