The crowd is loving this so much. It's as if the players know each other so well they know they like to play drop shots.

    Such a fun point.

A sweet winner from Karolina Muchova allows her to take charge of her latest service game.

The 10th seed can afford no mistakes here and holds firm in an exchange for game point, but Linda Noskova stays in contention with a brilliant pick-up on the run.

Muchova then guides in a wonderful forehand to close out and stay alive here.

  4. 'So impressive from both players'published at 18:18 BST

Noskova was so close so many times and for Muchova it was totally disappointing [earlier on] - 'I can't compete, I can't play at the level I'm used to' and then she comes back.

Now, for Noskova to recover, it's so impressive what I'm seeing from both players.

I have a feeling there will be a few more plot twists.

The momentum swings on the court are being mirrored in the stands.

Muchova received the majority of the support in the second set as Centre Court wanted her to extend the match.

More fans are now getting behind Noskova - seemingly through sympathy if anything else - but I'd say the crowd is still tipping in Muchova's favour.

Noskova's hands are looking better in this set. They were looking a little stiff when the nerves were overwhelming her in that second set. They are looking softer now.

You have to give Noskova all sorts of credit.

In the second set her lead completely disappeared, she had five championship points - that's pretty tough to regroup from, and on this court it adds so much more.

Karolina came over [to her coaches at the end of the second set] and they said 'you have got to switch it up, give her a different feel' as Noskova is still finding that wide serve too many times for me.

She joked 'I don't know if I can do it'.

What an incredible hold from Linda [at the start of the third set], she looked totally dispirited halfway through that game.

This will be one of the most brutal chokes in tennis history if Noskova loses from here. Hingis never recovered from blowing the 2002 Australian Open final, same for Coria at the 2004 French Open. I sincerely hope Noskova can regroup if she doesn't go on to win.

When the court analysis was introduced, at the start of the tournament, I instantly thought “oooh is this a bit intrusive?” but as the fortnight has gone on, it adds such enjoyment, hearing Laura / Eugenie / Todd relaying what they’re hearing, when eavesdropping on the players boxes.
