That's a stunning point for GB. Lloyd Glasspool and Nicolai Budkov Kjaer were in a battle there, but it's the Brit who comes out on top - planting the ball down the tramlines and out of Viktor Durasovic's reach.

But after finding themselves 0-30 down, the Norway team fight back and two huge serves from Budkov Kjaer hand them game point.

A brilliant get from Julian Cash at the net, though, brings us to deuce.

A relatively straightforward service game for the Norwegian pair as Viktor Durasovic wraps up the hold to 15 with a blistering ace down the T. Lloyd Glasspool had no chance with that one.

Sweet Caroline is blasting out in Oslo, and the British fans are -unsurprisingly - loving it. The Norwegian crowd are less sure.

    *Durasovic/Kjaer 2-6 6-2 1-2 Cash/Glasspool

Much better from the Brits. A superb service game from Julian Cash, wrapped up with a an overhead smash by Lloyd Glasspool.

But can they make a dent on Viktor Durasovic's serve now?

    Durasovic/Kjaer 2-6 6-2 1-1 Cash/Glasspool*

Nicolai Budkov Kjaer is smiling in between every point. He just can't miss at the moment.

And that wasn't half bad from Viktor Durasovic either, as he brings up game point with a sublime cross-court winner.

Lloyd Glasspool manages to claw one point back, but that's about all the luck GB get as the Norway team grab the hold.

Some local schoolchildren in the front row of the stands loved that second set. A couple of the boys stood on their seats, whipped off their T-shirts, and swung them above their heads in celebration.

Meanwhile, GB captain Leon Smith could be seen deep in conversation with the vastly experienced LTA coaches Louis Cayer, James Trotman and Colin Beecher. There is plenty of work to be done.

Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool took a moment off court their after the end of that second set. The pair, who were ranked as the top doubles team at the end of 2025, are going to have to up their level here if they're to finish the job for Great Britain.

What is going on with Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool?

The Wimbledon champions have fallen apart in that second set and the Norwegian pair have taken full advantage to a force a decider.

All the momentum is with Nicolai Budkov Kjaer and Viktor Durasovic, who as I mentioned earlier, are both ranked outside the world's top 450 in doubles.

    *Durasovic/Kjaer 2-6 5-2 Cash/Glasspool

What a turnaround this is! After winning just one point on the British pair's serve in the opening set, Nicolai Budkov Kjaer and Viktor Durasovic have just broken them twice in a row.

It looks like they're well on their way to wrapping up this second set and forcing a decider. All they have to do is serve it out.

Julian Cash goes big with the second serve and it pays off, with Lloyd Glasspool able to swat away Victor Durasovic's return easily.

But the British pair are still in danger. Nicolai Budkov Kjaer slams the ball down the line and that will be two break points for the Norwegians.

  16. Durasovic holds servepublished at 16:03 GMT 6 February

    Durasovic/Kjaer 2-6 3-1 Cash/Glasspool*

Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool had it all their own way in the first set, but it's clear things aren't going to be quite as easy in the second.

The British pair claw their way to deuce, with Julian Cash whacking the ball straight at Nicolai Budkov Kjaer. The 19-year-old Norwegian doesn't seem too happy with that and he has a word with the umpire, but I'm not sure what he's complaining about.

He quickly forgets about whatever it is and the pair pull themselves safely through that service game.

    That break came from nowhere.

    Durasovic/Kjaer 2-6 1-1 Cash/Glasspool*

Nicolai Budkov Kjaer and Viktor Durasovic might be down, but they're enjoying this.

Durasovic adds a bit of height to a return, just enough to take it over Lloyd Glasspool at the net and pinch the baseline.

The Norwegian pair give each other a big grin as they earn themselves two break points.
