I can confirm that since the roof has closed, Felix Auger-Aliassime's pace has come off just a little. He is 2mph down on his shots, whereas Novak Djokovic has gone the opposite way at 3mph up on his shots.

    Who saw this coming?

Felix Auger-Aliassime has been so good on serve but has Novak Djokovic ground him down?

The Serb not only breaks but breaks to love. Signs of weariness from Auger-Aliassime?

    Big moment in this match.

  3. 'Both players are very good indoors'published at 20:29 BST 7 July

Former British number one on BBC One

I don't really think the roof closure benefits one player more than the other. They are both very good indoors. When you look at Felix Auger-Aliassime's success, he has won plenty of indoor tournaments. Novak Djokovic has won plenty of tournaments full stop.

  4. Auger-Aliassime 'such a great server'published at 20:28 BST 7 July

    *Auger-Aliassime 6-7 (10-12) 6-3 2-3 Djokovic

    Leon Smith
GB Davis Cup captain on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra and BBC Sounds

Despite Djokovic being the best ever returner, it's frustrating to him that Felix Auger-Aliassime is going to get through sometimes. But he will because he is such a great server.

  5. Djokovic holdspublished at 20:27 BST 7 July

    *Auger-Aliassime 6-7 (10-12) 6-3 2-3 Djokovic

Another very comfortable hold for Novak Djokovic.

Five games into this set, it's taken 45 minutes and about 43 of them were Felix Auger-Aliassime's first service game.

If you're only just joining us that is only a very slight exaggeration!

I'm disappointed nobody said the 'Felix dipped into his bag of tricks to get out of a fix' (niche Felix the Cat reference there).

  7. Auger-Aliassime holdspublished at 20:24 BST 7 July

    Auger-Aliassime 6-7 (10-12) 6-3 2-2 Djokovic*

After a marathon service game to start this set, Felix Auger-Aliassime gets through this one quick sharp.

A hold to 15. They stay on serve and all predictions of a 23:00 BST finish continue to look accurate.

  8. 'Djokovic has been in and out'published at 20:22 BST 7 July

    Leon Smith
GB Davis Cup captain on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra and BBC Sounds

It's tough to call. You feel that Auger-Aliassime has done his job to get to this point. He's played good tennis the way he wants to play. We've seen him use his big serve. But, he has changed it up a bit, he is trying new things.

Djokovic has been in and out. You feel like he has got another level he can get to if he fully dials in. It feels like he's too distracted from other things.

  9. 'Djokovic is very good at noticing patterns of play'published at 20:22 BST 7 July

    *Auger-Aliassime 6-7 (10-12) 6-3 1-2 Djokovic

    Todd Woodbridge
Former Wimbledon doubles champion on BBC One

Novak Djokovic is very good at noticing patterns of play and working out how to break an opponent.

One of the key things is trying to get the first point on Felix Auger-Aliassime's serve to try to build pressure. That way, he will be able to do more throughout the service game.

It isn't easy though because he mixes his service placement up beautifully.

A relatively more routine hold from Novak Djokovic.

That was the calm after the storm perhaps, given the drama of the previous game.

  11. 'Won't help Djokovic's mood'published at 20:18 BST 7 July

    Tim Henman

That's a big hold of serve! It won't help Novak Djokovic's mood.

Surely the 34 minutes we are seeing on the screen right now includes the time taken to close the roof?

Two hours and 36 minutes and we are only at the beginning of the third set though.

Felix Auger-Aliassime once again showing the platform that his serve provides.

It really is the perfect platform to win a point and silence the alarm at the other end of the court.

We'll be here all night if they keep going like this.

I don't think the crowd would mind that, though.

This game has been longer than some sets.

No quarter given from either competitor.

Auger-Aliassime hits a backhand long to bring up the umpteenth deuce.

The placement is so accurate on the serve from both. They hit the spot perfectly.

Always a bonus when you can just smash an ace down like Auger-Aliassime just did.

But the second serve on the next point isn't good enough. It's only the second game of set three but it feels key.

He needs to hold serve though - and a crushing forehand winner from a decent Djokovic return gives him the chance to do just that.

But a slice from the baseline is well low into the net from Auger-Aliassime. Deuce again. Status quo remains.
