Jack Draper is playing in his first tournament while being coached by former world number one Andy Murray.

And the 24-year-old said he drew inspiration from his new coach to claim an "ugly" win in his first competitive match in over two months at the start of the week.

But their partnership is off to a positive start, and today Draper could become only the second British man to reach multiple semi-finals at Eastbourne.

Victory would secure his 13th tour-level semi-final and first since Queen’s last year.

The former world number four continued his comeback from injury with an assured win over compatriot Jack Pinnington Jones to reach the quarter-finals yesterday.

That came after he played his first competitive match in more than two months on Monday, with a knee injury sidelining him since April's Barcelona Open.
