By the end of play today, eight players will have been whittled down to four and we will know the semi-final line-up for the 2026 World Snooker Championship.
All four quarter-finals are very finely poised and we should all be in for a treat as they reach their conclusion.
In the morning session, Mark Allen and Barry Hawkins begin locked at 8-8 with 13 frames the target for victory - they will play to a finish.
On the other side of the curtain, Neil Robertson takes a 5-3 lead into the second session of his best-of-25 match against John Higgins.
