  1. Ding extends leadpublished at 14:11 GMT 4 December 2025

    Donaldson 0-2 Ding

You have to feel for Scott Donaldson.

The 31-year-old was in flow when play was interrupted in the first frame and now Ding Junhui knocks in a 114 break to take the second frame as well.

  2. Zhang makes stylish responsepublished at 14:06 GMT 4 December 2025

    Zhang 1-1 Zhao

What a response from Zhang Anda. With a break of 127 he draws level.

In their only previous competitive meeting a decade ago Zhang defeated Zhao Xintong 5-3

  3. Zhao establishes early leadpublished at 13:55 GMT 4 December 2025

    Zhang 0-1 Zhao

Over on table one, Zhao Xintong takes the first frame. Zhang Anda had his chances but left at least two easy starters for the world champion to get that one in the bag.

Play has now resumed and Scott Donaldson misses the next ball. That feels tough on the Scot and Ding Junhui capitalises to take the first frame.

We have been told that a man who fell unwell in the crowd has recieved medical attention away from the auditorium. Let's hope he is okay.

  5. Donaldson v Ding pausedpublished at 13:38 GMT 4 December 2025

    Donaldson 0-0 Ding

Scott Donaldson got a huge reception when he walked out a little earlier.

The 31-year-old from Scotland has been ranked as high as 22 in the world, thrashed Mark Allen 6-1 in the last 32 and is the only player not from China competing this afternoon.

And he is going along nicely in the opening frame against Ding Junhui, albeit play has been paused and the players have just walked out of the auditorium with someone appearing to be unwell in the crowd.
